Broken- Foxy x Mangle

"Ready?"

"Ready."

It was a Sunday night, and Foxy and Mangle had performed pretty much all day that day. Stupid weekend crowds. Foxy thought. He'd never imagined there'd be a day when he wouldn't always want to perform.

They were human now, packed tightly into a vent, as they couldn't go through the front door. They'd tried, but their programming wouldn't allow it, even as humans.

Mangle climbed upward through the vent first. She'd swiped some blueprints for the restaurant, so she knew it was the quickest way out. She just hoped they wouldn't get into any trouble...

Foxy looked nervously at the stage. They'd have to go above it to get out, but for the most part, everything looked normal. Toy Freddy wasn't even on the stage. That just made him worry that he was waiting for them in the vents somewhere.

His fears were validated when he heard Mangle screaming. Throwing all caution to the wind, he sprinted through the vents, trying to get to her.

"Maggie!"

"F-Foxy!"

Toy Freddy's large metal hands were wrapped around her ankles, and she was slowly being pulled back into the darkness. Foxy took her hand and tried to pull her the other way.

"Foxy..." She winced in pain as she was pulled both ways like a game of tug-o-war. "... let go... g-go on without me... I want you to be free, a-and happy..."

"I'm not going to be happy without you. I won't go if you don't go with me!" He started to lose his grip.

"I'll be happy knowing you're safe, on the outside! Just let go!" she screamed. A mixture of pain and pleading crossed her face. Foxy only had a grip on her fingers now.

"... I-I'm sorry lass. I won't leave."

He lost his grip, and Mangle was dragged backwards.
