She drags her arm away from my grasp and with a spiteful look she replies. "I don't believe you're from here. I've told you what you wanted to hear, happy?"
No I'm certainly not happy yet. "What makes you say that?" I demand hardly, she has to know something, the look on her face says she knows something.
She scoffs indignantly before turning on her heels. I follow her and we walk in silent for a while before she speaks.
"Stop following me you." She snaps, a little pissed.
I shrug, keeping a reasonable distance between us as I trail behind her as I don't want to bump into her if she takes a sudden stop. Something tells me she knows a little too much about me and I'll be stupid to let her walk away with that.
"I will if you tell me what you know Mia."
She stops and glares back at me, "Don't call me Mia like you know me or like I know you or like we are even friends. I don't even like you."
You don't have to be so obvious captain.
"I know that but don't think I like you too, at least not the you that you are now." I fire back at her, but I don't think it has as much effect on her as the words she said.
"I know you were not from here the first time I saw you at Clara's place and it got even more clearer when I saw you yesterday. Your hair."
I ran a quick hand through my hair, not getting how she can tell I'm not from here by my hair.
She continues "The way you speak, your words are different from ours, your hand." She points at the tattoo showing on my left arm. "And the way you smell. Everything about you scream I'm not from here!!"
"That thing you're hanging there makes it even more obvious."
I glance down to see what she is talking about and realise she was talking about my glasses, hanging between the shirt I am wearing and it's jacket.
I surprisingly take it and stretch it forward toward her. "This?"
"Yes that what on earth is that?" She scrunch her nose up.
"There are called glasses, you use them to see properly."
"You're crazy, and where ever you're coming from is weird."
My whole body seems to loosen up at what she said, someone agrees with me, and that means I can figure out how the hell to leave here. "So does that means you believe me and you don't think I'm crazy?" I asked expectantly.
All the while I have felt left alone, but now I'm beginning to patch up.
"I think you're crazy." She begins to move again and I follow her.
"Let me come with you?" I request in a plead.
"No."
"Common I've been indoor all day!" I whine clumsily. I feel bored and frustrated being in the house all day.
"No you were sleeping all day." She corrects with a grim.
Was I?
I remembered thinking too much to sleep.
Maybe I got tired.
But that doesn't matter.
I scratch my head in thought. "Let me come along please?"
