The vampire in me.

Elsa's pov:

Today Manny is throwing Jack and I a party in celebration of our engagement. I am really nervous about it but I am glad that Jack will be there by my side the entire time. I wan't to meet some of Jack's friends and maby they will tell me a few embarrassing things about Jack's past. I sort of feel happy that Jack'doesn't know much about my past. I  hope that e never finds out anything about it either. I have possibly the worst past in history and even though I know Jack loves me I fear that if he found out he would leave me. I don't want tht to happen, I love him to much. 

FLASHBACK:

Everything was dark and smelt heavily of smoke. There was the smell of wolfs bane and silver all around me, which almost drowned out the smell of the blood. I could feel a warm liquid at the bottom of my feet, pooling around them. There were cold, spiky handcuffs digging into m wrists, drawing blood from them. Every time that I moved even the slightest bit, i would scream out in pain and a fresh set of tears would fall down my face. 

I could hear footsteps banging on the wooden floor above my head. I could tell that he was coming back. He was going to punish me. I prepared myself mentally, physically and emotionally. already knew what punishment I would get because it was the last day of the month and whenever it is the last day of the month the beatings are worst.

FLASHBACK OVER:

Just as I was about to get to the actual punishment, I awoke from my daydream. It was those events that lead up to the day that changed everything, and like they say at weddings, for better or for worst, though I am not sure which one it is...
