without any memory..

She began to wake and stand up but only to find that she was greeted by the cold darkness and stale,dusty air. Metal ground against metal and clank and clink could be heard: a lurching shudder shook the floor beneath her. She then fell back on her behind of the sudden movement and scrambled back on her hands and feet.The drops of sweat fell down her face despite the cool air. She then back up to the wall of the box and curled up into a ball,hoping her eyes would soon adjust to the darkness around her.

The box jolted,making her surprise as it seemed that she was moving faster. The rough noise of chains and pulleys echoed through the room,bouncing on and off the walls. The elevator swayed back and fourth making the girl feel as if she needed to barf and the smell of burnt oil didn't help,she wanted to cry,but she couldn't get the tears in her eyes.She just sat there.in the dark,thinking.......

'My name....is...(Y/N)' She thought. It was the only thing she could process in her mind,because that was the only thing she could remember.She thought harder and harder to remember facts.places....people. She tried as hard as she could but the specific memories only came up in blur.

This confused her very much.Where was she?How did she get here?Where did she come from?Where are her parents?Heck! She didn't even know her last name! Every time she tried to remember a face or conversation,it wold be smeared or scrambled into random letters.

As she waited for the box to stop,as seconds turned into minutes and minutes turned into hours,her fear surprisingly turned into curiosity as she wanted to know why she was here.Then suddenly, the box got slower and slower until it stopped,leaving it dead silent.She wanted to scream,but her voice wouldn't let her.She then her some voices outside.

"Wonder what poor shank came up this month."

"Probably another Slopper around the Glade."

"Or a piece of klunk in a shirt."

(Y/N) Just listened,hearing diffrent accents and familiar voices.

'Shank,Glade,Slopper,klunk,boys?What's going on!!?'

Then,a bright light shone on her face blinded by the brightness,but adjusted to find a bunch of boys staring at her.

"Holy shuck!It's a girl!"

"That's new."

"Is she cute or sexy?"

"Both."

"I call dibs!"

"I saw her first!"

(Y/N) just looked at them confused on why they thought it was a big deal that she was a girl,but her vision was clearer to see that they were all boys.No girls.All teenage boys.No adults.This is so awkward.

A rope from above,the end of it tied into a big loop.(Y/N) hesitated a bit,but got up to the rope and hold on to it as she was pulled up to the sky and dropping to the ground and a hand pulled her hand up to bring her on her feet.Whispers and mummers could be heard from the others.(Y/N) heard these words clear and would never forget it.

"Nice to meet ya girl shank,Welcome to the Glade."
