Lost & Alone

Abigail had absolutely no words for what Peter was telling her. She didn't have the capability to believe him but then again what he was saying made perfect sense with the way she was feeling on the inside. "Why are you telling me all of this now?" Abigail said rhetorical to herself out loud. "If I am this girl of the prophecy than how come no one told me about it" She then said to Peter wanting more and more answers every minute they were together.

Peter felt hesitant to answer her question "because the end of the prophecy is not a happy ending and no one in Storybrooke knew that"

"Why?"

"Because part of the pages were missing and I found them on this island. After I read the ending you showed up on the island the next week as if by fate"

"May I please see this prophecy because if I don't like it then it's not going to happen" Abigail said with complete fire in her eyes. She was finally getting the truth. But it might not be the truth she wanted to hear or see or live.

Peter than handed her the prophecy and at first she was just trying to hold it delicately. It was printed in a piece of old fashioned paper and it looked like at any moment the entire piece could just fall to pieces on the floor. "Okay...." Abigail began to read the fine scripted print on the paper. "At the rise of the child's first Halloween moon she will receive the full power of magic. If the child is ready to receive the power, they must prove themselves to the shadow of the beings. Neverland is a place that runs on imagination, the first moon is the one that defines destiny. If failed the child shall be banished to a life filled with sorrow and regret" Abigail has absolutely no words to say. She was completely mesmerized by what she just read. And once she flipped the paper over it revealed a picture of the child of the prophecy. The child was Abigail. "This is unbelievable, never did I think I'd be a part of a prophecy. I always thought I was the loser who didn't fit in"

"Abigail, listen to me. Your so much more than that. I don't know how to reverse this prophecy because I don't know if your ready to receive all powers of the world. And if your not than I don't want you to be banished either"

"Yeah that would be pretty bad, I think we should find this shadow thing and see if it thinks I'm ready or not" Abigail was confused because she didn't know if she wanted this power. She enjoyed being normal but having powers would no longer make her an outsider.

For the next few hours, Abigail and Peter spent their time on the boat spilling their hearts out to one another about their horrible lives, but somehow them being together made them feel a whole lot better. Abigail felt like she could walk on water. Peter felt like he was invincible with Abigail by his side. "It's almost sunrise" Peter said looking out onto the water. "We've been here all night long just talking about our lives"

"Do you think that one day we could leave here with Wendy, Emma, and the lost boys and go back to Storybrooke?" Abigail asked

"It's something I never thought of" Peter said sitting next to Abigail on the boat with his hand on hers slightly. "I always thought of this place as my home. Storybrooke was just some place that I lived" Peter was actually starting to think and reevaluate his means and motives here on Neverland. "Abigail...." Peter said looking dead into her beautiful crystal green eyes that just sparkled through the reflection of light after it hit the surface of the water.

"Yes Peter?" She said not know what he was even think to himself at the moment

"I think I'm in love with you" he said with as his body was cringing with complete fear. Peter had never felt that way because their were never any girls on Neverland to say it to. The whole feeling was different and strange for Peter. "I never knew what actual love felt like until you. The moment you crash landed on this island I knew you were different. You are special!"
