Breaking The Rules

Chapter 18: Leave with me

Bae looks at me and wipes the tears with his hand. His eyes fill with eager light. "Than you can come with." He says rising to his feet ,shoveling through piles of leaves. He gasped in relief as he holds up a coconut. "What are talking about?" I say standing up dusting my clothes off.

"I found a way off the island. And I want you to leave with me." He say with a smile. My breath was caught in my throat. My face must have shown my surprise. "I mean ,not right now. But I promise ,we can have a life together. We can have a family." He said grabing my hand.

I looked at him and smiled. "Yeah." I said thoughtlessly. He laughed. My smile widened. "Great!" He said hugging me. I didn't really know what to do. Did I want to leave? What would happen if I left? I am the saviour of Neverland. Would Neverland live on if I left.

I couldn't help but feel like something was wrong ,like I couldn't leave. But it feels the longer I stay ,the harder it is to speak for myself. He pulls from the hug with a wide smile.

"How exactly are we gonna get off the island?" I ask looking at the coconut in his hand that he so desperately looked for. "Its easy." He opened the coconut ,it was split in two ,and inside of it was a candle. "You lite the candle ,and trap Pan's shadow in it ,than he will fly us out of here." He said as if it made the most sense in the world. I couldn't take the fake smile off of my face ,in fear I would break his heart.

"Wow." I say with a chuckle. "Now Wendy ,you must leave ,I'll come get you tonight. Nobody can know of this." He said rushing out of the house. I nod my head and run back to the camp.

When I'm out of Bae's sight ,I redirect where I'm going. I run through the jungle ,making sure I remembered the way. I come upon a big tree. A tree with my initials carved into its rough bark. One day when I was training with Felix ,he said I should claim a tree ,a tree to think at. Felix said if I ever needed to think about something ,I should come here and my thoughts would become clear.

I ran my fingers over my initials and sat down. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. Did I even want to go? Should I go ,because if I do ,what would happen to Neverland? I care about people here ,and I couldn't just leave them. I was supposed to be there family. But Bae says we are family? I don't want to go back to the horrible land. A land without magic. A world were I mean nothing.

"Thinking are we?" I look up to see Peter leaned against a tree. I stand up and take an annoyed sigh. I cross my arms. "So you do know I'm alive?" I say sarcastically rolling my eyes. "Well of course love. I've just been...busy." He said with an electric grin. "What's your problem? Why've you been avoiding me?" He seemed uncomfortable with the subject.

"I told you ,I've been busy." I take another annoyed sigh. He walks up to me. I shift as he gets closer. I could feel the warmth off of his skin. "What's wrong ,something on your mind?" He said backing up a little. I gave him silence. "Well ,it doesn't matter ,cause I know what your thinking. And your not going anywhere." He said holding up the coconut Bae had showed me. I gasp.

"Give it back!" I say lounging towards him. He disappeared and I could feel his presents behind me. I turn around to see him with an evil grin. "I'm afraid not." He said walking around me. "But I do see you...care for Baelfire." He said with mockery.

I stomp my foot in aggravation. "So lets make a deal. This coconut makes it way back to Baelfire. And I'll let him leave ,but you must stay. You must break his heart." He said a sudden darkness coming upon his facial expression.

"And why would I do that?" I say with a mocking smile. "There's nothing for you in that other world. Nothing but pain. You are nothing there ,and no one. Stay here ,where you can be something ,be someone. And yes ,you may break Bae's heart ,but isn't it worth it for your happiness." He said his eyebrows frowned.

I dropped my arms to my side and thought of his offer ,of what he was saying. He was right. There was nothing in that world for me. I could feel my facial expression falling. I look up at Peter and nod my head. "Deal." I say extending my hand. He grabbed my hand and shook it. "Now ,I like the sound of that." He said with a malicious smile.

Hey guys. So I know what y'all were probably thinking ,"Oh ,Peter is totally not ,going to be in this chapter." But then ,BAM ,there he is. So it has been a long time since I we have had a Peter's POV ,so next chapter he will certainly be in there. Now as y'all know ,I do give out spoilers for those who can not wait ,but here are the conditions.
