"Aurora's first." Julia said, gobbling down the oatmeal. Max had been listening to the other ladies about the sequence of the date. Aurora McQueen, a fashion stylist in New York. She dated Ian once-heard the news. Wouldn't that be awkward for Emilia and her?
"It would be awkward." Sophia said, sitting down with a bowl of salad in her hands. "You could see the tension between the two last night."
"Oh yeah. There was an obvious heat going on last night ." Rose added.
"And then Brittany tried to join in." Sophia said, looking around to make sure they weren't there. "I rolled my eyes when she joined in."
"I saw that too."Julia added.
"You miss the whole thing last night." Casey told Max.
"What I miss?" Max said, helping herself with some strawberry jam unto her toasted bread.
"It may look like it was just casual talk but---really. I saw electricity in their eyes. There's no show without drama"
"Really?"
Sophia tried to warm them when she saw Brittany coming. "They're coming."
Everyone silently ate their breakfast as they watch Brittany and Katy walked passed them with their silk robes.
"You b*tches think I don't know you were talking about me?" Placing her hands on her waist, an eyebrow raised, Brittany waited for their answers.
"We were talking about Emilia and Aurora so..." Sophia said, making everyone trying not to laugh.
"Whatever, Sophia. You're just one of those people who loves talking about other people. You're obviously insecure."
"Oh my go-to whom? You?"
"As I'm always saying, there's no show without drama." Casey whispered to Max and then looked at Brittany and Sophia arguing with each other as the cameraman continued to shoot them. "And we love drama."
Waiting for the yacht to come, Max tried to calm herself down. "I'm quite nervous." She said to the camera. No need to worry. You chose a night on the yacht. When she saw the yacht stopped in front of her, there was Ian in his white shirt. He paired it a a navy blue shorts with a black belt and a black and white loafers. He was casual but classy- this man knows class.
And he looks really good.
"Hello, Maxine." Ian smiled at Max as he extended his hands towards him. Max smiled at him and held his hands as he tried to hoist Max to the yacht. Such big and wide hands.
"Just Max. I prefer to be called Max." Max said before walking towards the bow of the yacht. She had a great view of the night sky.
"You really like looking at views, don't you?" Ian smiled as he poured the champagne on the glass.
"I just like looking at beautiful and serene views. The ones that could just take your breath away." Max said and saw the blanket and the picnic basket on the wooden floor.
"Well, I also like looking at beautiful things." Ian leaned on the metal steel and looked at the night sea. "It's good to be alone at times. Just being quiet and just---just be like this."
"Yeah."Realizing that she just lost it, she shake her head. She needs to get on with the game. "Anyway, you look really handsome."
"Thank you. You look pretty yourself." Ian clinked his glass towards Max's before drinking it. "Why don't we sit down?"
"Yeah. Let's...yeah." She followed Ian towards the picnic area. She tried to squat down but remembered she was wearing a fitting dress and a wedge shoes so, she decided to sit in a poise manner even though she find it incredibly uncomfortable.
