Until Dawn (Josh X Reader)

(Y/N) POV: It was weird staying in a cave with my "enemy" but Josh didn't seem to mind me. He just stayed in his own little world while I tended to my broken arm. After a while Josh came up to me slowly and looked at my arm. He looked at me as if to ask, "May I touch it?" I nodded and let him look at it, taking the risk that he might rip the flesh off of it! He grabbed it carefully and I cringed from the pain. OWWWEEYY!!!! He looked at it with care and finally, he put my arm back. That's when I realized I haven't told him my name yet.
"I'm (Y/N) by the way." I told him. He didn't say anything, he just looked at me and smiled.
Josh's POV: Wow, this human was really trusting! She let me "tend" to her arm and everything! After I finished I realized I didn't know her name! As if reading my thoughts she told me that her name was (Y/N)! Pretty. But I still didn't know why she trusted ME! Out of all people! Or... Wendigos.
(Y/N) POV: I still didn't know why I trusted HIM! Out of... well... Anybody! On this mountain at least. I guess that I might've just taken pity on him because of what had happened to him. But, he honestly seemed like he didn't want to hurt me! How in the hell is this possible? I felt like this was just too good to be true. I decided that tonight I would pretend to sleep so if he tries to eat me, I'll be ready!!!
                          Night One
(Y/N) POV: I made it without him killing me! Night one! Maybe this was when chiz got real! I decided to "sleep" on the cold floor with only my clothes to keep me warm. Josh still seemed to be in his own little mental world, so I didn't think I would have a problem. I never can be too sure though.
   " 'Night Josh!" I called to him. He shook his head and looked up at me. Then he did a weird extra toothy smile and said, "G'night!" I smiled back and pretended to sleep. Every now and again I would open my eyes a smidge to see if he was crawling towards me silently. He never did. He just stared at me. Like the whole effing night!!!! Every now again, I would here him mumbling to himself. Just stuff like, "Protect, protect, must protect!" Like what did I do to deserve a Wendigos protection? Or maybe he knew I was awake and was trying to trick me!!!
And then I realized I was paranoid. And if I distrusted him any more, I would've died.
