Cold Case 4.1 (My version)

Jesse------------

I slipped from Zach's grip and ran to a boy named Danny's side.

Zach snickered "Saved by the geek thats nice Jess."

Danny stepped infront of me "B-back o-off Zach" he stuttered

Zach stepped forward " Whatever, I'm not going to waste my time dealing with a loser like you." He looked over Danny's shoulder to me " I'll see you later, hopefully we can have some fun next time." he winked before he walked out of hallway.

I sighed releasing that I had been holding my breath the whole time.

Danny turned to me "Hey, are you alright?"

I nodded "Thank you Danny."

He nodded "I've seen you with Cam and Neil before, we play video games sometimes. I just didn't want you to get hurt by a creep like Zach"

I gave a slight smile "Yeah, but really thank you. I don't even want to imagine what could have happend if you weren't here."

He scratched his head "I think Neil is getting off soon, he had to clean up one of the kitchens, some cooking accident. If you want I could wait with you, Like I said Zach's a creep."

I smiled "Thank you, I would really appreciate it."

He changed his work shirt and sat in the food court with me.

We sat down talking about which classes we had together, I didn't even realise that I had him in almost half of my classes. He said it was okay and that nobody really talked to him in school anyways. I felt really bad, I knew he probably didn't have alot of friends. He seemed squeamish and moved his hands alot as we talked.

"Hey, um I missed Chemistry, do you know what homework we had?" I asked

He nodded "We just have to read the next chapter and awnser the questions, I wouldn't really skip it either, I heard the teacher mention we would have a quiz next week."

I smiled "Thanks that class is really kicking my butt right now. If I don't get a C at least I wont be able to do Volleyball this season."

He seemed to brighten as I told him "I'm good at it, I could maybe tutor you, o-only i-if you want though"

I nodded and smiled "Thank s I would really like that Danny."

"Hey Jess whats up" I turned to see Neil behind me in jeans and a Black t-shirt with a skull on it.

I smiled "Hey Neil, I was just talking to Danny. He helped me out, Zach kept following me." I explained

Neil nodded "Well thanks man, Come on Jessie, I'll drive you home."

Danny nodded "Yeah, n-no problem. I'll see you later Jessie."

I nodded and grabbed a pen and scribbled down my email "Here you can email me about the tutoring too, I'll see you later."

He nodded and I waved before leaving with Neil.

When we got to his black jeep he stopped before opening my door.

"Jessie, I know something happened. What is it?" He asked

I shrugged "Forget it Neil, I swear it's nothing."

He grabbed my hand and I hissed as he applied slight pressure.

"What?" He asked

Before I could answer he pulled up my sleeve.

He saw the bruise and looked up "Zach did this didnt he! I swear to God if he touches you again-!"

I cut him off "Neil dont, please. I'm fine alright"

I reached up and touched the back of his neck, his brown hair tickled as I gently ran my fingers over it.

His eyes met mine "Jessie...." He whispered

I smiled "I'm fine okay"

He was about to say something but nodded "okay"

He opened my door and I slid in. It was a short and quiet car ride.

When I got home I saw there were no cars, no surprise. I got out and said bye, I opened the front door and went to my room.

I sighed kicking off my shoes and plopping on my bed. I looked at the clock 5:37.

I wasn't even dark yet. I decided to do my homework for once and make dinner, when I was done it was almost 10.

I yawned and decided what the hell, I jumped into bed with a tank top ad shorts on.

I flipped my light off in my room and went to bed.

I woke up and jumped, Cameron sat on the edge of my bed staring at me.

I covered my chest "What the Hell?! Cam?!"

He laughed " Come on Jessie, It's not like there is anything there."

I growled and kicked him off "Yeah what am I worried about, you probably wear a bigger bra then I do."

He stood up and glared at me "Not funny"

I chuckled "is too"

He growled and grabbed a pillow off the ground and threw it at my face.

I caught it and threw it back. It smacked his cheek and his head turned, he looked back and glared at me "Jerk"

I stuck my tongue out "You started it"

He laughed "Come on, lets go to my place. I gotta new game to show you."
