Your POV

"C'mon~ we don't have any much fun since there are less female Class S criminals in here." An ugly prisoner cooed inching closer at me grabbing my wrist.

"Fuck off!" I jerked my arm away as I positioned myself to knock him off with a single kick.

As I was going to kick him, I felt my wound sting causing me to fall on my knees.

I heard the other criminals laughed maniacally as the guy from before grabbed my wrist again pulling me up to face him, my feet no more touching the cold metal floor.

"Don't be so stubborn and let us have our fun!" He shouted as he raised his free hand to probably slap me.

I closed my eyes readying myself for the impact that my left cheek would feel. I felt the grip on my arm loosen replaced by two arms tightly surrounding my body. I opened my eyes and saw Sonic with his devious aura engulfing him. I sensed the other criminals who were having fun at me shrunk on their places as Sonic appeared on the scene. I looked down and saw we were standing above a highly beaten scum who tend to hurt me earlier.

He jumped from the guy carrying me bridal style to our cell room.

He set me down carefully as he inspected me for any possibilities of injuries.

My palm met his right cheek. Hard. He jerked away as he stared at me wide eyes holding his stinging cheek.

"Why?" I said almost like a whisper.

"[Name]..."

"Why must you make me look weak from all those guys?!" I yelled, tears streaming down my cheeks.

"You know why I hate you Sonic? I hate you because you make me so weak! I hate you for saving me from the rival village! I hate you for making me feel this way for you!" I clenched my fist repeatedly slamming it on his chest as he stared at me.

"You know why I wanted to surpass you? For once I wanted you to look at me with awe just like how I looked at you! I wanted to be stronger for you because I know your strength is not infinite. I want to protect you. I want to save you like how you saved me." I stopped my fist as I cried harder on his chest.

"That's why I headed out to the village. To prove myself to you that I can be strong too. That's why I challenged you to fight. To prove myself worthy." I breathed out, "To be honest, I can easily cut you off thanks to my dad's training but I can't even finish you off at that time. That's why I blanked and you took that chance."

"I hate that I fucking love you you jerk."

I said it. I poured all my feelings. I can hear my own hiccups because of too much crying.

I felt two strong arms enveloping me to a warm hug pulling me closer to his body. As I looked up, a pair of lips caught my own, eyes closed. My eyes widened at the sudden action. Body tensed, but soon melted and responded to the kiss wrapping my arms on his neck.

Since oxygen is oh so important. Our lips parted as he pressed his forehead into mine.

"I'm so stupid." He breathed out, "I really am. I'm blinded by my own feelings too. I hate myself for being so dense and dumb. I have no regrets saving you. Because I swore to myself that I'll protect you from harm. Even if my life's at stake." He looked at me, his eyes full of hope. "The reason why I want to beat you is because I know to myself that I'll be confident if you ever need some saving.

"I also hate you for making me feel this way. But I wish you won't hate me for letting me love you."

"Sonic..." I whispered softly. His thumb traced on my lips shushing me softly, "Of course I won't. But I wish you would let me too." I softly said, feeling my cheeks heated more and more. His eyes piercing into mine not breaking contact. Soon he smiled. Not the smile he wears when he's on a killing spree. But the smile I can only see.

"I love you." He pecked me on my lips.

"I love you too asshole." I giggled brushing my nose to his.

"What gives on this wound tho!" I exclaimed as I playfully slapped him on his shoulder.

"Well you were spacing out when you jumped from a building launching yourself to me and you were falling so I launched myself to you to pushed you on the nearby building. You probably hit your stomache on something when you landed." He said scratching the back of his head. "Sorry." He smiled kissing me again passionately.

"Say," he spoke after our lips parted once more, "how about we settle our silly competition? Who ever cums first loses." He smirked.

"Shut up!" I squeaked as my face heated more and more.

"Come on! It would be fun!" He sang carrying me bridal style laying down on my bed.

"SHUT IT." I punched him making him unconscious.
