"Oh! You're just so pretty! But, then again, how could you not be? Both of your parents are beautiful!" She cooed and admired my hair and eyes.

"It's nice to meet you..." I was smiling like crazy. I felt like she gave me whiplash but at the same time her eagerness was endearing.

I could easily see how she was my mothers best friend.

"Hey kiddo! I'm Emmet, obviously everyone's favorite." This huge guy smiled. He seemed scary at first but once he smiled at me, he seemed really sweet.

"Alice, I think pretty is an understatement." A tall, long blonde haired girl came up to us and I felt slightly intimidated.

"You are absolutely drop dead gorgeous!" She exclaimed and settled my hair down around my shoulders fondly. "I'm Rosalie, you must think I'm horrible." She smiled sadly.

"Why would I think that?" I asked confused and a little upset she would think that.

"Bella was always so open. I bet she didn't even tell you how much of a monster I was to her, did she?"

"No...no she never mentioned it." I sighed and looked at the ground.

"Everyone, why don't we settle down. We have some news to break to you." Carlisle sighed. I sat down in a chair he gestured to and prepared myself mentally for what was next.

"Everyone, Bella has been missing since shortly after Elizabeth was born." Carlisle looked like he wanted to throw up.

The whole room went deadly silent, everyone was shocked and didn't know what to say.

"Bella's...missing." Alice looked like she was about to freak out and the blonde man next to her just stared at me with this haunted look in his eyes.

"Edwards going to freak." Emmett murmured.

"Are we going to tell him?" Rosalie asked.

"He's going to know somethings happened when he sees Elizabeth and Bella is no where to be found." Esme sighed.

"He's going to be destroyed." Alice put her face in her hands.

"Did he really care about her that much?" I couldn't catch the words before they rushed out.

The whole room froze again.

"Do you believe otherwise?" Carlisle asked calmly, a deep pain showing in his features.

I've always understood the fact that he didn't know my mother was pregnant when he left. The one thing that's always haunted me was the question if he just used her. If he left her, so suddenly, how much did he truly care about her.

I knew that part of me was being silly. Through my dreams I've seen his pain about leaving her, the love in his eyes when looking at her, even when he was telling her he never existed.

"No." I sighed "He really did love her didn't he?"

"More then any of us could understand." Carlisle smiled. "But something tells me you understand everything perfectly."

"I know it sounds weird, but, when my mother was pregnant with me she just...knew things. She knew I would be a lot like you, and she knew I would look a lot like my father. Whenever I was born, all of that transferred to me. I just know certain things, they just pop into my head. Most the time it happens when I dream." I paused, taking a deep breath before exposing what a freak I am.

"On my plane ride here, I dreamed of my mother, and I realized I was living her first day in Forks with her. I was with her every step of the way. I rode in her truck with her, I could even smell the tobacco and gasoline and old peppermint. I was with her when she first saw you all and that first day in class with my father. It's things like that mostly, memories and images that tell me information. So far being in Forks I've dreamt of my mothers first day of school, my father right before he left, a lovely little dream of me and my mother when I was a baby followed by some scary guy watching her closely, my father actually leaving my mother, my father and Alice in some old city, and finally whatever happened earlier."

"Wow, so you've seen all of those important moments?" Carlisle asked.

"It's really strange I know, I feel like some freak, is it coven normal to be able to do stuff like this?" I was near panic.

"Oh Elizabeth! It's okay! It's perfectly normal, in fact, you come from a very gifted family." Alice giggled, hugging me tightly.

"Really? You all can do this too?" I asked hopeful.

"Well, not exactly that gift. I see the future, Jasper can change emotions, and your father can actually read minds." She smiled at me. "Cool huh?" She giggled.

"So what is my...."

"Gift." Carlisle nodded.

"What is my gift called?" I asked.

"I'm not sure, obviously it's something to do with memory but you were able to show Esme and I earlier so...I'm not sure. I can call Eleazer and find out though. He may even be tempted to come down and train you." Carlisle smiled.

"Eleazer?"

"One of our 'cousins' in Alaska. There is a clan there who has our same diet. We call each other cousins as a sort of joke." He explained.

"That sounds wonderful actually. I would love to know more about this." I sighed in relief.

"I'll call tonight, for now, why don't we get you prepared to meet your father soon." He smiled.
