SARAH'S POV-
"Keep your eyes closed," Harry said to me, his warm palms covering my eyes.
"Where are we going?" I giggle, watching where I am walking.
We were on a break holiday in Paris and I could feel the wind blowing strongly through my hair and hear cars far away.
"Now I just need you to climb some steps. Please be careful," he tells me. I lift my foot each time, making sure I don't slip. That would be the last thing I needed. Just a few more steps and he walked me into a lift. He uncovered my eyes and I opened them right away. I could just see the black night as the doors shut.
I turn to Harry, a smirk on his face.
"Where are you taking me Styles?" I grin, matching his face. His smile just goes wider, his dimples showing.
"Secret," he says, tapping his nose lightly. I huff and cross my arms. He knew I hated secrets. "Aw come on. You'll love it. Only a few more seconds," he says, putting his arm around my waist and pulling me closer to him. His hand rests on my belly.
I wait silently, unsure if they are butterflies flying in my stomach or something else. Finally the lift stopped and the doors binged open.
I gasped as Harry led me out of the elevator. I looked all around me, mostly all I could see was darkness, but right in front of me was a table and chairs, draped in fairy lights, with tall candles around it, flickering in the wind. I looked beyond it, to the view, and the whole of Paris sparkled in the blackness.
I then looked up, surprised at the strong structure we were standing on. We were on the Eiffel Tower.
"Harry this is perfect!" I squeal and jump into his arms. His face buries into my neck and my arms wrap around his. "I love it! I love you," I say, pulling away. He grins and pulls meas close to him as he can, his lips lightly touching mine. He traces small circles on my belly with his fingers making me shiver.
"Come on, let’s eat," Harry laughs as my stomach rumbles. I'm forever hungry these days.
We enjoy our meal of pasta, my favourite and whilst Harry enjoys some wine I drink my sparkling water.
"You sure you don't want any?" He asks me. I raise my eyebrows at him.
"You know I can't," I smile back.
After our meal, he takes my hands from across the table and we just talk. We talk about all the things in our lives that we are grateful for and all the times we've spent together.
"Thank you for doing this, I really appreciate it," I tell him.
"Well I thought we could celebrate the special occasion," he smirks. I look at him confused.
"What special...." I start but his actions make me stop. No words come out of my mouth as Harry drops to one knee and takes my hand. He pulls a small box from his back pocket.
"Sarah. I can't believe the first time I met you, I wouldn't think that you would have any interest in me. As soon as I saw that picture of you, I knew I had to have you. Yeah there have been some complications on the way, but we always found each other again. That shows that no matter what happens, we are meant to be together. I want to be with you for the rest of my life. We can make mistakes together and have fun, but most importantly we can love each other forever, just as much as we love each other now," he says. My breath catches in my throat, and tears fill my eyes.
"So will you stay with me forever and marry me?" He asks. He actually looks really nervous, pushing his curly hair out of the way. His green eyes look at me in anticipation. My words are all muddled in my head and I can't string a sentence together.
It's lucky that all I have to say is "yes!" The tears fall down my face, and I laugh with excitement. Harry takes the ring out of the box, and gently slides it onto my finger. I admire it before Harry picks me up and swings me around.
"Hey careful!" I laugh holding my stomach.
He puts me down gently and kneels in front of me.
"Did you hear that baby? She said yes!" He whispers excitedly to my belly.
He kisses my swelled belly and stands up. I throw my arms around his neck and his land on my hips.
"I can't wait to marry you," I tell him.
"Me neither. And I can't wait to meet her," he grins, stroking my belly gently.
"I love you so much you won't believe," I breathe, my forehead touching his. "I love you more," he whispers before crashing his lips to mine.
And I can't believe this all started with That One Night.
