This Summer > Before You Exit

Woke up Monday morning with no one next to me in the bed. Frowning I got up and went towards my phone to see why it was vibrating like crazy. I had 3 unread messages from Riley.

Riley: Baby girl I had to go I'm sorry Tess wanted me at her house early and I didn't want to give her a reason to think I wasn't following through with the deal.

Riley: But I miss you little raccoon.

Riley: I won't see you probably at all this week I'm so sorry it kills me to do that to you. I love you more than you will ever know. Ok I gotta go baby girl. Bye <3

I sighed reading the texts why couldn't he just be mine and mine only? Why do I have to share him with that crazy bitch?

I smiled though thinking that he would soon be mine all mine.

Just when I was putting on a big t shirt and shorts to head downstairs I heard something clatter to the floor in the kitchen.

Curios as to what it was I fast walked down the hall and to the top of the stairs.

My view from there was Toby attempting to get some water but it failed due to only the balance of his one arm.

I giggled from the top of the stairs, making sure it wasn't all that loud.

"Hey would you quit laughing at me and get your butt down here and help me!" he said not turning around from the fridge.

I was startled by his noticing and begin to walk down the stairs.

"Yes Sir Mr. McDonough!"

I finally reached Toby taking my sweet time.

"Finally Jesus my grandma moves faster! Just get the cup because if I bend down I will fall over straight on my head, believe me I know because I tried at home and my mom and Connor had to physically pick me." He didn't get to finish because I busted out laughing surely waking up the whole house, when I saw Toby's hurt face I slowly stopped laughing my stomach hurting.

"Awww little baby Toby you know I'm just kidding!" I said picking up the cup and filling it with water.

"Yeah, WHATEVER! You big bully picking on someone younger then yu!" he said raising his voice but it was obvious he was just playing around with the playful glint in his eyes.

"In case you haven't noticed you’re not smaller then my genius!" I retorted handing him the cup of water!

"Ok yes your right but your still older!" he said jerking the cup of water from my hand spilling it all over my white shirt.

"Toby. McDonough. I will give you 5 seconds head start to get to your girlfriend in the living room so she may protect from further harm. 1, 2!" I said through gritted teeth beginning to count.

He walked the fastest he could to the living room where he yelled," DANI BABE, SHE IS GOING TO KILL ME!"

"4,5." I begin to run to the living room where a confused Danielle was beginning to rub the sleep out of her eyes and a scared Toby stood.

"What are you talking about?" said Danielle back towards me.

Toby saw me and Danielle turned around and laughed at me.

"I like your bra hunny! Did Riley like it?" she said to me.

"That is why she is my girlfriend!" said Toby from behind her.

"Whatever Danielle!" I said laughing.

“Toby apologize, and Mika don't kill him." said Dani smiling at both of us.
