Everything began when I started eleventh grade, my class was very smart. Everyone was in the section " most likely to succeed" I was smart, not as smart as the rest of my class though. Luckily I made up for it through my athletic abilities. I easily beat them in that area.
One day during gym class a man and two women walked in, we had never seen any of them before.
" Hello" one spoke "I am John, this is Rose and this is Amy" he gestured at the women " we are here to see what you guys are capable of"
My gym teacher turned to us and being the loud guy he is Coach Drew yelled "ok people line up in front of me"
We all ran to get in line... Coach Drew gets mad if we start what he calls "slacking off" which basically means we rest for point two of a second. Like always I found myself being pushed to the front of the line.
"Good Dillion your first" he winked at me "gimme twenty push ups under a minute" we all stared wide eyed at his serious demeanor " your time starts... Now!"
I pushed myself as hard as I could And I surprisingly did them in thirty seconds.
" Nice!" he cheered " you had thirty seconds to go!..."
" Next!!" he barkedEvery other person had to run ten laps because they didn't finish them in time. My best friend Julie gave me a smile as I gave her a high five on every lap.
"Two more to go!" I whispered as she ran by
"Dillion" coach called
I ran over " yes coach?"
" you beat your best time! Good job!"
" thank you sir" I smiled
Coach had us run double the amount of laps we usually did and pushed us to our limit on every activity. I went to second period exhausted.
The rest of the day passed with a test in every class taking up the entire period and then in our electives we got pushed to the limit, at home I told my parents about it. They thought it was strange too, we had just finished our first month of school. We had already taken all of our pretests to start off the school year.
what is going on???
