By Your Side (Matt Donovan Fanfic) Part 2

Chapter14:

I am running through the woods, trying to find everyone. My judgement is clouded and I have to warn them all to restrain me and find the cure without me. I keep running and running but I run right into her... the woman that is responsible for all of the voices and strangeness going on with me.

I stopped dead in my tracks afraid of her, and her power. What did she want with me?

"Who the hell are you?" I yell.

"That's not important. I need you to raise Silas for me. Raise Silas and I go away" She says vaguely.

"I'm not helping you" I say visciously.

"I have ways of making you change your mind" And suddenly it feels like my head is being ripped in two, I fall to my knees and scream out in pain. The woman is chanting some spell, I become weak. She walks towards me and when she's close enough, she fades into me and I blackout again.

I awaken but I feel nothing like myself. That psycho witch put herself in my head, I can feel it. Her thoughts, they are dark and vengeful but I'm too weak to know anything else. I pick myself up and the only thing I focus on is running.

"What's happening to me?" I say, scared and I feel a deep need to get to Silas.

I am running at full vampire speed when I stop, due to hearing the voices of 3 vampires... that also want the cure. I go back to them, feeling the pulse to hurt and remove the threat. I hate this feeling. It's like I'm being controlled.

I run onto the beach and they all turn and see me.

"Aurora, what happened at camp? We went back and all of you were gone, where is Bonnie? And Damon!" Elena comes up to me and asks.

Without hesitation I flare my fangs and attack Elena I toss her over me and am about to slash at her neck when Stefan grabs me and pushes me back. He's trying his hardest to hold me back, I run and grab a piece of drift wood, ready to use it as a stake. Rebekah comes from behind me and snaps my neck to stop me from attacking and I collapse on the sand.

Rebekah's POV:

"What the hell was that all about?" I ask in confusion.

"She just attacked me!" Elena said.

"She's not herself... maybe it's the spirits on the island. Let's go.. we have to find the others, we don't know how dangerous she can be" Stefan says helping Elena up.

"She's definitley fiesty... if she's related to me... shouldn't we tie her up or something?" I ask.

"No... If there's anyone else on this island I don't want her vulnerable to an attack. She'll be awake soon, let's go" He says and we all take off in the woods.

Aurora's POV:

I wake up with a sore neck and feel a little lighter than before... maybe the psycho left when I got killed. I sit up and look around, remembering how I attacked Elena and Stefan. I turn over trying to help myself up.

"Get out of my head" I say at nothing but having a feeling the witch knows I'm talking to her.

I start running to track my friends. I have to warn them while I'm still in my right mind.

I head through the woods, tracking any one of my friends that are closer. Then 2 voices catch my attention... Damon's and one I have never heard before.

I rush to it but slow once I am close enough. I hide in the tree and stalk who has Damon hostage. He's another hunter. I find out that there is only one dose of the cure and he's here to use it on Silas and then kill him. I can't allow that to happen.
