The Doctor's POV

I know the Master's here without even using the map. It was kind of Lucy to lend it to me, but Timelord telepathy alone can sense another Timelord. I don't know what I'm planning to do, but I need to do it before he does anything to Matthias. It is then when I see two men talking at the end of a darkened corridor. Fearlessly, I walk over to them through the dim light. They turn around at the sound of me, and I can't believe my eyes to find Mickey and Jack.

"Oh my god," says Mickey "You're alive!"

"Doctor!" Jack says. They go envelope me in a hug and slap me on the back.

"What on earth are you both doing here?" I say in a sharp whisper, looking around.

"We were looking for Rose and you. You've disappeared for ages, and this seemed the place to investigate." Says Mickey.

"What happened to you?" Jack says, looking my ripped clothes and thin, bruised frame up and down.

"The Master. He captured me and Rose...and our baby."

"Your baby?" Jack says "You don't have a kid Doctor...?"

"It was an accident, and a long story, but you need to help us." I say.

"Anything boss." Mickey nods and they both listen intently to what I have to say next.

"Rose is in a critical condition, she's lost a lot of blood. The Master captured her and trapped her, and when she gave birth the child, Matthias, was taken from her."

"Oh my God." Mickey says.

"We'll help you." Jack says "What can we do?"

"I've got a plan, but it's dangerous. Matthias could be anywhere, and the Master could be doing anything to him, and Rose needs to be cared for."

"Where is she?" Mickey says.

"She's with Lucy." I say.

"Lucy? What the masters wife?" Jack says worriedly.

"She's changed, honestly." I say "But now, listen to my plan and we can get Rose out of here and get Matthias back."

I tell them my plan and they agree to help. Now I have to face Master.

Quietly, I approach the door of the grand hall. It's a giant building. Hidden in the middle of the countryside. Guards are nowhere in sight, I wouldn't be surprised if they've been captured and shoved in cells by the master too. I open the door, and there stands the master, and beside him two guards. He has his back to me and his head is bowed to the floor, but I know he knows I'm here. I come to a stop, and shove my hands into my ripped jean pockets. The master raises his head. "Doctor. How lovely of you to stop by." He turns around, an evil grin plastered to his face. The guards start to move towards me but the master raises his hand.

"Just a little longer." Says the master, and turns back to me.

"Where's Matthias?" I say sternly, looking him right in the eye.

"Matthias?" He says questioningly.

"Mine and Rose's baby."

"I think you'll find, that's my baby. Who won't be a baby for much longer." The Master smiles and I swallow hard.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, I can't go to war alone with a baby now can I? He would need to be at least, 20 years older to fight?"

"Don't you dare touch him." I say.

"I'm afraid it's a little late for that, dear friend. He's already in my care."

"Where is he? What've you done to him?" I say a bit louder.

"You expect me to tell you? God Doctor, sometimes you are so thick. See, if I were to tell you, my plan wouldn't work. But so far I've done nothing to him...yet."

"Tell me where he is!" I shout.

"No!" He laughs and shakes his head. I take a deeo breath and walk closer to him.

"After what you've done to Rose, and our baby, I will never forgive you."

"And what's that to me?" He shrugs his shoulders.

"Why do you want him anyway? What's so important about Matthias to you?"

"He's half Timelord." Says the Master. His words echo through my head.

"So why do you need him?" I say.

"To open the crucible left over form the time war. Two parts of Timelord DNA from the blood poured into the top of it and it will open."

"So why haven't you done it already? What's keeping you?"

"I need him to fight with me too. I'm bringing back the time war, it's my turn to win."

"You're bringing back the time war? What?! You can't!"

"I can!"

"It's my turn to take the victory. I'm going to open the crucible, and me and Matthias will reign supreme to all."

"No," I shake my head. "You leave him alone and don't touch him."

"I've told you already, it's too late." He says. Suddenly two figures dressed in black, like guards, walk through the door and I smile to myself.

"What're you smirking at?" Snaps the Master.

"See, you're quite thick too." I say, and move closer to him "You're amazing at making plans, starting wars, starting conflicts, getting people to like you, and getting people to hate you. But there's one thing which you really fail at." I say with a small smile.

"And what would that be?" He says with a sigh.

"Noticing the obvious."

"What's that supposed to mean?" He says.

"Well, you know all your guards are all exactly the same height to the millimetre? " I say.

"Yes. What about it?" The Master stares at me.

"Y'know the two new guards that've just walked in the room. Well, they're two inches too short." I say. Before I can say anything, the two guards take their black helmets off to reveal Mickey and Jack and knock the master round the head. They grin to the other two guards and hit them down too. Jack ropes the Master up at the wrists and Mickey holds him down.

"What are you doing?" The Master says "Get off!"

"No chance Pasta Masta." Mickey smiles and holds the Master down firmer to the floor.

"Pasta Masta? Seriously?" Jack says, finishing the rope on the Masters wrists "and I thought Captain Cheesecake was bad."

"Come on you two." I say, "Now out him in the cellar and we'll find Matthias, and then I'll destroy the crucible."
