joy that's what her parents named  her ,because she was a ray of hope and joy for Adam and Cindy. after 8 years of trying finally they had succeeded in creating a symbol of their love, a beautiful baby with incredible dark brown almost black eyes and shinning black hair ,she was everything to them.they were a very happy and complete family her parents adored her, so did her maternal grama they visited her on every weakened  the old lady was a older version of joy same hair and same eyes she loved her daughter more then anything else in the world after the death of her husband joys mother was all she had ,so instead of grieving over her loss she dedicated herself to her daughter .

"mom when do we get their" ,twelve year old joy shouted from the back seat ,"i cant wait to show grama the cake I baked for her"

"we will be their in a 10 minutes why dont we play a game to pass the time "adam said.

"lets play i spy",cindy suggested.

"dont be silly mum how can we play i spy in the car" giggled joy

"sure we can i spy with my little eye a little princess with long black hair and a nose like a rain deer",adam teasing his little princess

"MUM! dads calling me rain deer nosed princess " pouted joy.

her mum was fully aware that joy was a total tom boy she hated being called princess and she was very sensitive about her nose

"stop teasing her adam ",cindy scolded her husband.

"alright then why don't i tease you", adam bend toward his wife to give her a kiss.

DAD LOOK OUT! a loud bang filled the air as their car smashed into the  truck coming from the opposite side .

beep beep beep she shot up from the bed drenched in sweat the clock read 3:46 am

it had been ten years since that accident but she still failed to erase the memories from her mind after that her life had been a total  blur the memories of that accident haunted her in the forms of dreams.she tried to go back to sleep a busy tiring day was ahead of her like all her days .she had work to do  lots and lots of work  to pay for gramas medicine ,the bills and the groceries .mom and dad died in the accident unfortunately she survived she asked her self at that tender age why god had taken her parents away from her why did he let her live if he wanted he could have taken her with her parents what was her purpose in this world without her parents she got her answer at their funeral her black dress was wrinkled as wrinkled as the hands of her  grama that were holding her  she was shocked at her grama she hadn't drop a single tear joy knew how much her mum meant to her grama , she looked at her gramas faced it was stoned no expression at all  like a statue but her eye gave her a chill down her spine they were filled with  such emotions that scared her they say eyes are the window to the soul and from her eyes she could see that her gramas soul ,it was ripped, shattered as if it died with the death of her daughter  ,she was strong when she lost her loved husband but the death of her daughter had broken her, joy knew her purpose that she had to live to survive to be exact not for herself but her grama at that moment  the 12 year old girl had  suddenly  turned into a mature responsible woman .
