~-Lindsey's POV-~

~Continuing From Chapter Thirteen (Guardian Angel)~

Garroth ran excitedly towards the gates. But he stopped suddenly and frowned. He looked at me with a confused look. 

"Lindsey, do you know what happened here?" He asked. 

"No, not exactly. Why, has it changed much?" I asked him. Then I used my magic to open the gates for us. 

"Yeah...the forest looks bigger and...the village looks abandoned! Hold on...maybe..." Before Garroth could finish is sentence, he ran into the village.

"W-Wait!" I yelled after him. I chased him into...wherever he was going.

He soon found another set of gates and we saw a safe hold! A guard on the other side of the gates smiled and opened them. People started crowding us. Well, not me, but Garroth. I understand though. He's been gone for fifteen years. People asked him questions like: "How did you get out of the dimension?" And, "Is Zane with you?".

"Whoa, hey, I'll explain to you all later. But...can you show me where Aphmau is? It feels like it's been forever since I've last seen her." Said Garroth. I raised an eyebrow. 

Is that...his girlfriend? Ugh, No, stop, I can't be in love with a guy I just now met in the forest! 

"She's up in the tree house. Along with Laurance, some...guy, and your sister." Said the guard that opened the gates for us. 

"Wait, my sister?" He asked. 

"She's not exactly...awake. Something happened to her. But...she'll be fine." Said another female guard. 

"Okay, can you...take me to the...'tree house'?" Garroth asked. 

"I'll take him." Said the guard that opened the gates. He turned to me. "Hey, did you safe him?" 

"Who, me? No, I don't exactly know what happened. But I saw him in the forest and wanted to help." I said. "My name's Lindsey."

"I'm Dante. And thank you for helping Garroth." He said with a smile. I smiled back and he took us to a huge Yagrasil (I think I spelled that wrong) tree! 

When we got to a small room with a ladder, Dante climbed up it and said,

"Aphmau, Laurance, big news! Garroth showed up at the gates!" I herd two gaps. 

"G-Garroth?" This sound like a woman's voice. 

Me and Garroth climbed up the ladder after Dante. Garroth went up first and me second. It was nice inside the tree house. It was nice and cozy inside. Inside, I saw a man with light brown hair and baby blue eyes, a girl with H/C hair and E/C eyes sleeping, and a girl with black hair and hazel eyes who looked like she was about to cry. The room as silent for a few seconds. Then the girl ran up to Garroth and hugged him tight. Garroth hugged back. I felt a new feeling, jealously. The man just...stared. Maybe he liked the girl.
