As Arabella walked through the double doors  to the rehearsal room she quickly realised she was the last cast member to arrive. She made my way over to the piano and tried to discreetly take a seat in the empty charge next to Keke.

"Arabella! Nice of you to join us! You look great!" She said, engulfing her in a sideways hug. Arabella hugged back but mentally rolled her eyes as she didn't want to cause a scene. All  heads turned to the girl and she gave a small wave and smile to her fellow cast mates.

"Sorry I'm late everyone. The traffic was awful," she said, making an excuse for sleeping in and pulled out her songbook from her backpack.

"Not to worry, you're here now. We were just doing a vocal warm ups," Tom, the musical director said. Arabella nodded her head in response and joined in as the cast began.

After 20 minutes of vocal exercises Arabella could already feel her face turning pink from singing so hard. Or maybe she was embarrassed? She did a quick scan of the room, taking in her fellow pink ladies and T-birds. They'd all meet before on various occasions, but it was nice to be together at last. Keke Palmer, a true goddess sat to her right and she noticed Vanessa, a true Disney child, next to her. Arabella had always loved both of them and to work with them now was a dream come true for her. Carly Rae Jepsen and Kether Donohue sat on the other side of Vanessa and all looked gorgeous with their strong bone structure and dark hair. Arabella was the complete opposite with bright, blonde hair and tired, dark under eye circles, part from lack of sleep and other part from being hungover. Her friends had insisted on celebrating her role of Sandy Young the day before the first rehearsal and she was starting to regret the choice, as her eyes slowly closed every so often. Arabella tried her best to stay focused as Vanessa began singing her solo, 'There I Worse Things I Could Do'. She took the opportunity to watch the boys, who sat in a row in front of the girls.

Carlos was directly in front of Arabella, so she couldn't see his face, only his black hair and grey jumper. Next to him sat Jordan Fisher, who Arabella viewed as a little brother. They clicked instantly and had a great time whenever the two were together. Besides Jordan was David, who she didn't know too well, but thought he seemed lovely. Arabella knew the rehearsals would bring all of the cast closer which was nice. She needed some new friends. Turning her head to the right  she was meet by a pair of baby blue eyes. Andrew Call flashed her a wink and a cheeky smirk, before leaning into Aaron to whisper something. Both men looked back at Arabella and smiled before turning back around to face the piano. Well then.

"Arabella, Aaron, are you guys up for practising Summer Nights?" Tom asked the pair although it wasn't like they had a choice.

"Sure," Arabella replied, as Aaron nodded his head.

Arabella was surprised at how well their voices blended as they sang. She'd forgot the sound of Aaron's voice. As they sang the last note, Arabella looked over at Aaron who was smiling brightly, causing her to do the same. The song ended and she quickly tried her hardest to regain her breath without making it noticeable.

"Nice job guys," Tom said with a smile. "Let's take 10 and then we'll practise some arrangements."

Everyone broke into a chat and Arabella awkwardly picked up her backpack and slung it onto her shoulder, as she stood from her chair.

"Hey, where you going?" Arabella heard Jordan ask and she turned to him.

"Just outside, I won't be long," she replied and gave him a wink before she left.
