Michael

Luke has been avoiding me for two weeks.

Two. Fucking. Weeks.

And all I did was kiss him.

No– he kissed me. And then I told him his eyes were turning white. Because if you're a demon with natural black eyes, wouldn't you be a bit concerned if your eyes were turning into another colour?

So he then he leaves. Poof! See you later, it's been good.

I knew he hadn't actually left, because the guy isn't that sneaky.

For instance, this afternoon when I was sleeping, I felt him tuck me in but when I opened my eyes he was gone.

Frustrated, I made my way downstairs in hope he still thought I was sleeping.

"Luke?" I whispered when I heard voices in the kitchen. Voices?

Yes– voices. And one of them was Luke's.

"But I want to," I heard him plead to the other voices.

"Maybe this will put things into perspective," a voice said.

I heard Luke yell which was followed by a bang and I stumbled back, hitting my foot on the wall, creating a loud thud.

"Is anyone else there?" I heard Luke whimper and my eyes filled with tears at the sound of his voice.

"Good riddance Luke! Have fun, and thanks for letting us visit!" A foreign voice taunted and I burst into the kitchen to find Luke lying on the ground, his skin white as paper.

"Luke!" I cried, before he snapped his head in my direction, his body still unmoving.

"No," he whispered before fading away again.

"Luke? What the fuck?" I yelled, banging my hands down on a chair. "What the FUCK?"

"I fucking hate you," I growled, sitting at the kitchen table. "I'm trying to help, now stop being a fucking baby and disappearing. It's not my fault your eyes are turning white. If you showed yourself then maybe we can come up with a reason for it, asshole."

Fuming, and desperate for company, I called the one person I knew would piss Luke off more than anything.

"Sofie? Hi, it's Michael, do you want to come over?"

"Oh Hi Michael! Yeah, sure, is Calum there?"

"He'll be home soon. I'm just kind of lonely, that's all."

"No problem, I'll be right over."

Smirking, I sat down on the couch, waiting for Sofie.

"But it's so GROSS!" I shouted, covering my eyes and cringing. "They're brother and sister!"

Sofie rolled around on the floor, crying with laughter as we watched some Star Wars movie.

"H-help me up," she said between gasps.

I grabbed her hands and swung her up.

"Oops, sorry," she said, accidentally stumbling into my chest.
