Notes:
(Y/n) - Your Name
(S/s) - Shoe sizeYou stood shocked, your bare foot stinging lightly against the hard cold floor.
"D-Dipper? What do you mean?" You asked shakily. 'Extinction...Does he mean? I could cause this?'
The teenager sighed, looking out by the door again. The rain continued pouring like it had been dressing the grass and everything around it in a river of damp, grey wet substance. Though, only just water, it looked like shadows. Dipper nodded snapping you into reality once more."Come. Great Uncle Ford needs to see us." He stated gruffly making your heart tighten. Quickly grabbing your umbrella marked in black and sliding on your shoes, the bare foot forgotten after being shoved into the (s/s) shoes Dipper opened the door quickly walking out, you to follow as you waved to your parent's who still stood in unison with identical baffled faces on what was going on. Following quickly, you caught up with him, rain dripping off your umbrella now already. You began to feel a pang slight guilt for not offering something to Dipper as he walking, obliviously being soaked. Your shoes did make a difference starting to become damp from the puddles.
"So...You told Ford about Bill and I, huh?" You asked finally to break the awkward silence, only to make it more awkward as he continued walking faster now eyes on the ground picking up the speed to catch up a bit.
"I did. I'm sorry if you wanted it a secret, but my great uncle and I wanted to make sure that Bill wouldn't terrorize any others and now look what a fabulous job we did. Finding you. And even now Bill's been in Ford's dreams again saying how close he is to getting the precious item he needs. Just that dumb rift, a tear in our dimensions." Dipper spat lightly kicking a Pitt Cola can, making a clattering sound as they walked through the forest.
"I-It's okay I guess, but I don't see any meaning in me here now." You reassured. 'Alright Triangle. Let's put your plan into action shall we?' You asked in your head knowing if Bill had heard you, Your soul would be cut even if you didn't know he could or couldn't do that for sure yet.
"What do you mean, you made a deal with him, didn't you?" Dipper snapped, stopping now in front of you. You slowed, holding the umbrella tightly in your hands feeling the weight of the rain pound onto it. Slowly biting your bottom lip, you started to blurt out the unforgiving lies you were made to tell falling out of your mouth like a river.
"Bill and I...We...Our deal. It's....Off." Dipper stared at you confused.
"You can't just call off a deal, (y/n) it's not how it works." This made you flinch. He wasn't buying it.
"Look Dipper! I'm sorry I didn't listen to you before and after. Bill is a trust-able guy, alright? He said he would never possess me or hurt me no matter what happened, so lay off with your goofy mystery conspiracy stuff, please!" You exploded, hair dry compared to his, a hurt gaze in his eyes making you regret what you said and ever did instantly.
"I'm sorry too. We were all tricked by Bill. You just need to realize that he's trying to get you to be his puppet again." He retorted with more emotion. You looked down a faint burning blush beginning to form on your cheeks.
"Dipper, you may not get how I feel about this. He wants to show me the mysteries that I've never seen in my entire life. He showed me things that I could die from but easily saved me every time like some kind of angel protector. I can't exactly say my life is worse than anyone's or anybody's but I do know that Bill is a good...soul..demon, whatever you wanna call it for now. He wants a rift, I get it, but he's putting all his trust in me to take it from you!" You finished, eyes flashing. You roughly smashed with all your weight onto the boy onto the muddy ground of the forest, he yelping in surprise.
"I CARE FOR BILL AND YOU CAN'T STOP ME FROM DOING WHAT I WANT!" You hissed, pointing a finger towards him then began to run towards the shack. Footsteps marking your tracks.
~Dipper P.O.V~
I rubbed my head slowly seeing a faded girl running away in the distance.
"Ford...We can't let her!" I yelped into the walkie-talkie by my pocket, hoping it worked over the loud rain pounding onto the ground dripping from the trees. I got up slowly, starting the charge off towards her. There was a soft crackle over the walkie-talkie hearing the deep voice of my uncle.
"Dipper. Dipper. Calm down we won't let her get to it. You tried. Look, I'm hiding the rift away right now!" He sounded reassuring me softly.
"Okay, sorry for freaking out there." I returned a slight voice crack at the end. Releasing the button to stop talking, I pounded quietly on my neck.
"Stupid puberty voice." I grumbled following the muddy tracks towards the Mystery Shack, but stopped. My eyes widened as the marks drifted outward away from the shack and back into the forest.
"Uncle Ford. I think she's going another way. I'll see to it, but stay on guard." I said softly, peering through the dense fog starting to form glazing across the ground making my feet hard to see. Following the tracks I started to lose my way, I looked around for any new signs, stiffening as a low voice whispered in my ear.
"You little pine tree better have paid better attention to the tracks you were following. You clearly aren't a good mystery hunter after all." The whisper ended. I whipped around seeing no one around me, clenching the electronic tightly in one hand, a bead of sweat drooped down my forehead and to my nose apart from the washing wet rain, eyes widening.
~Uncle Ford~
Great Uncle Ford opened the cabinet and shoved the rift inside shutting and locking the door to it. Moving over, he had begun to throw the key deep within his pocket buried in things he had forgotten to sort out. His eyes widened hearing a scream from behind the sound loud enough to crack glass, he covered his ears going to see where it was coming from. There. Was the walkie-talkie on full volume."Dipper!"
