You and Adrien were best friends when you were both younger. Sure, you became Chloe's 'friend' but Adrien always picked to play date with you. You admired Adrien for who he was and was always there to console him whenever he was feeling down. Especially one day, when his mother disappeared. "It's okay Adrien. I'm sure she'll come back. It wont be forever." You said in your 9 year old voice. Adrien looked up at you with his sad emerald eyes. "Promise?" He asked. You weren't sure of course but if it made Adrien happy, you were willing to do anything. "Promise."

You both grew into well developed teenagers and you instantly fell for him. You were both models but even though you enjoyed your job, he wanted to be free. "I really want to go to a real school (Y.N). Being homeschooled is the worse thing ever." He complained sadly. You didn't know what to say. These things never bothered you and now, seeing Adrien upset, made you want to keep Adrien smiling. You promised Adrien every time he was upset that you would always find a way to make him smile again. This was hard.

You didn't understand Adrien's desires but still oved him all the same. You would never admit it.

One day, Adrien came running to you with almost tears of joy running down his face. "(Y.N)! I got to go to school and it was amazing! I made new friends and learned in a way that I can actually enjoy!" You were happy for him but you had news that may break his heart. "Adrien. I'm happy for you but I just found out some bad news." Adrien's face totally dropped and was now filled with worry. "Why what's wrong?" You put you head down and stared at your feet. "I'm moving to Germany for a modelling career." Adrien didn't say anything but his face was filled with sadness. "I'm gonna miss you so much (Y.N). You have always been there for me since we were kids and always comforted me when I was down. I don't know anyone else who could do that for me other than you." You smiled and started to cry.

"Adrien?" You asked. "Yeah?" The blond replied. You sniffled and looked up at Adrien. "Promise you'll wait for me.?" Adrien was taken aback and scratched his head but nodded, "Promise."

You flew away to Germany that night and promised to be back in 5 years time. He hugged you one last time and said that he would wait. You thought about him those 5 years and stayed in little contact now and then.

The day came when you were going back to Paris. You didn't tell Adrien but you told him you were going to arrive back soon. He didn't reply but he saw the message. You didn't think twice about it and sat there, awaiting the look of surprise on his face.

The only surprised look on anyone's face was yours. You arrived at Adrien's home to see him walking out with a girl with twin pigtails and dark blue hair. They were holding hands and talking about whatever they were talking about. It broke your heart. You ran from the scene and crouched into an alleyway. "Adrien! You promised."

Crying for what almost seemed an hour, a purple butterfly slowly approached you.

"So. You want a boy's heart do you?"
