"Pick a partner". When our Physical teacher says this, both Francesca and I look at each other. Smiling like two idiots, we try to do some weird position.

In Physical, we're doing gymnastics but not the kind of gymnastics you're thinking. I mean, the going-on-top-of-eachother kind of gymnastics. We try out three positions and they all succeed.

"You're so light" says Francesca.

"Seriously? Bitch please" then I giggle.

This position is when the person has to stand on the others tummy and hold its legs.

"Okay let's try it" I say.

Francesca lays down and puts her hands onto her stomach to prevent any injuries. I get on and look at her. Francesca's eyes are still the sparkling ocean.

She smiles and makes my butterflies fly around my empty stomach again. She says "We did it" then suddenly I feel a vibration. We both laugh realising she farted. "Omg Francesca!".

Everyone looks back at us, on top of each other as I fell and laughing like complete idiots. We hug each other then start cuddling. I lean close and wanted to make a move.

The teacher disturbs us and says "Go in a group of three. Let's try so pyramids. Today is assessment so make up a routine". He wanders off on his laptop.

I clear my throat and get up. I hope she didn't realise what I was going to do. I blush then Francesca gets up as well.

Raf comes and asks to join. Frankie and I both accept then pick some more complicated positions for our routine. Raf starts to avoid eye contact with me and this increases suspicions inside my conscious.

"What's wrong Raf?" I ask.

"Nothing". He doesn't look up so I gave up quickly. I don't feel like arguing right now. Worth a try with a question.

We all made up a routine and we practice it all over again. His weird behaviour is getting on my nerves. He doesn't want to tell me whatever the reason is. I might just ask Faith. Yes. She'll know.

Francesca chats with Raf and out of the blue she asks him "Are you gay?".

This brought me out of my thoughts and watched them. Raf shook his head which was strange so I decide to bump in.

"What do you mean Raf? You are gay. You're my gay friend!" I put my arm on his shoulders and looked at him. He opens his mouth then closes it again. He looks down to his feet, embarrassed.

"I'm bisexual" he says. My eyes go wide and now I'm even more curious. Is it why he was acting weird around me? But it's not a big deal. So what? He's bisexual. I don't get it.

"Since when? Who's the new girl?" I ask cheerful, hiding my curiosity and anger.

"Two weeks ago, a few days before that party. I fell for a girl". Then finally Raf looks at me. I see a broken heart in his eyes. What happened?

"Who is she? You can tell me. You always told me" I hug him tight but he doesn't hug back so I let go.

"You know her very well. Sure as hell does Francesca too. At the party I saw my crush with someone else. I think she's dating someone else but doesn't want to tell anyone. Faith knows who my crush is and I left the 'dating someone' bit out, but nobody else knows anything. Well I've kind of told Tia but that's all. I want to keep it that way until these feeling towards her leave".

Tia is his bestfriend. They've always been there for each other so I'm not surprised that he told her. I look over at Francesca then the teacher claps loudly to bring everyone's attention.

"C'mon everyone. Routines ready? We'll go in turns. Be ready".

We all sit on our mats and watch other groups do their routine. It's our turn after a while. We did some whirls and balancing. Then we did a little pyramid and an ending position. So far, our routine was the best and, at the end, turned out to be the best. The bell rings right on time and I go up to the library.

Searching through corridors with Katie for Faith we have a little chat on the way. "So any news about you and Francesca?" She looks at me then checks the Maths room.

"Nope. Just had Physical with her though. Was quite fun".

"Oh. Getting physical already?" Katie winks at me then I blush. I quickly change the subject.
"Raf is acting strange around me." I frown and Katie gives me a look.

"Haven't you heard? He's bisexual--".

"Yeah he just told me. He said he has a crush on this girl. He even mentioned that he things this girl is secretly dating someone else because of what he saw back at the party". Katie rushes to the toilets but Faith isn't there so we decide to check the Science labs. Where is she?

"You really haven't heard". She shook her head and ask about it. "I won't tell you. He probably doesn't want you to know". So she knows as well? This isn't fair. He usual tells me what happened especially if he has a crush on someone.

After a few looks in some classrooms, we finally find Faith in Lab 7. "Finally!" I shout with relief. Faith rushes towards me when she finished packing her stuff then looks at me. She rests her hands on my shoulders and says quietly but clearly "Someone has a crush on you and you're going to break his heart if you ask Francesca out". Everything froze around me and I spaced out for a sec. Woah woah woah. Wait.

Raf been acting strange around me. Only around me and Katie said he has a crush. I haven't heard who and Katie thinks Raf doesn't want me to find out. So now, Faith is telling me that someone has a crush on me. This got to be some kind of joke.

"Raf?" I whispered like a scared puppy. Faith nodded violently and explains everything.

Raf thinks his crush is dating someone because of what he saw at the party. Francesca and I hugging. Alone. At the back garden. He got the wrong idea.

Oh and at Physical. Fuck! I'm screwing his mind. Francesca and I hugging. Laughing together. I would be so broken if I saw Francesca like that with someone else. It happened before and I started cutting myself so badly but then, after the party, she always stayed with me.

"I'm so cruel" I said. I look down at my feet, ashamed.

"It's not your fault" Faith says, patting my back.

"It is".

"You didn't know. It's not your fault!" I look at her and say, "I can't ask her out. I can't be with her- even if she likes me back. Should I tell her about Raf?".

Wait. He has the wrong idea about Francesca and I. I've got to tell him that I'm, at least, single.

I got up and walked away.

"Where you going?" asks Katie.

"I'm going to tell Raf. I have to tell him that there's nothing going on between Francesca and I.

"This is bad" I say to myself. Faith rushes behind me with Katie. So I heard the news.
