We met on a playground on a sunny day. I was quietly swinging on the swings, earphones in my ears, music flowing in.
He came and sat on the unoccupied swing some time later. At first we didn't acknowledge each other, just kept on swinging and minding ourselves. But then I began stealing small glances.
At first, I only saw that he had grayish-blue hair and pierced ears. Glasses also adorned his face. Before he can notice my staring, I looked away. He's kind of cute, whoa.
I decided to not look anymore and enjoy my time on the swing. I guess I was so into my music that I didn't notice him talking to me.
He was facing me, mouth moving. I quickly pause my music and take my earphones out.
"Oh gosh sorry. I had my earphones in." I don't know what made it happen, but he released the most beautiful sound I've ever heard. It was so breathtaking, so unexplainable.
He smiled, making the angelic sound stop. "It's ok. I should've gotten your attention first." A smooth looking pale hand was brought up. "Hello, my name's Im Jaebum."
I shyly brush a piece of hair behind my ear, and bring my right hand out to shake his. When we touched, sparks flew up my arm, making me shudder.
"Um hi. I'm Raebin. Nice to meet you Jaebum." His smile grew bigger. Brown eyes never left my face, making me blush. I could feel him observing me, eyes taking everything in. I hope I don't look like major trash like usual. A gentle squeeze to my hand brought my attention back to his face. His hand is still holding mine.
