Fire and Flight [COMPLETED]

Waking up to the sun beading on my face I sat up and stretched. A smile made it way on my face.

What can I say I'm a morning person. I brought a duffle bag here past night but I can't remember where I put it. I looked in the closet and aha! There it is!

I grabbed a white sports bra and some black basketball shorts and jumped into the shower. I scrubbed my self down with the body wash I found.

I dressed quickly then skipped to the lounge area to find the kids watching spongebob on the tv with cereal in their hands. They had a fresh pair of clothes on.

"Hey guy's where'd you get the clothes?" They looked up then looked back at the tv.

"It was in the closet in our room." Nyla said casually. I Chuckled taking out a granola bar and eating it.

"We need to feed, will you take us?" Ashton asked with doe eyes. I mentally 'awed' then nodded. They squealed.

"I was going on my run away " I say then we head out leaving caleb a note.

We jogged through the forest. I saw a dear up ahead and the two looked at each other. "Race ya!" Ashton said to nyla causing her to smirk. They both took off kicking dirt in my face.

I laughed following behind them to see nyla pinning the deer and ashton pouting. "I won!" She exclaimed.

She hugged her brother and they both bit into the deer. I sat on a rock waiting until they finished.

Ashton plopped next to me when he was done and licked his lips. "I think it's time we should head back now, everyone should be awake soon." I said.

"Wanna race?" He challenged. I smirked, angels are fast than any creature combined. "Game on" I said.

The three of us lined up and I counted us down. We sped off fast than light and I could see them struggling to catch up until I broke through the clearing first.

"I won!" I shouted. The two laughed but stopped and looked behind me. I looked back and saw everyone who was training look at us.

Nate came through the crowd with a amused grin. "Well you three make quiet a entrance." He said.

I blushed then started backing away. Arms circled around my waist. I looked over my shoulder at caleb. "Hello my beautiful sister."

"Hello my handsome brother." I teased.

He chuckled. Nate growled at my brother pushing him off aggressively. "Don't touch her!" He hissed.

I choked back a giggled when he looked down at me. His eyes filled with so much love, it was blinding. I blushed looking away.

Something whipped past my eyes and I was immediately alert. My bow and arrow appeared in my hands and calebs sais in his holsters.

"Nate get everyone in the pack house now!" I ordered. He hesitated before wrapping me I a hug and kissing my head then rushing everyone inside.

Caleb and I were back to back when a smokey cloud flew past us. "Caleb what is that?" I asked a little nervous.

Out of all the years I was a assassin this is the first I've seen this.

"I don't know chase so stay close." I nodded, one of the shadows flew to me and flung me through the pack house window. The glass shattered under my weight and I topple into a wall.

"Chase are you ok? My angel I'm sorry." Nate said. Before he came over he had a blonde in his lap. He didn't think I noticed but I did and it only fueled my anger.
