It was storming outside. Peridot was terrified, even after Steven explained 'rain'. She came out of the restroom and tried to find Steven, thinking he could help her calm down, but he was no where to be found.
Maybe he's on a 'mission', I think that's what those clods call it?
She could see a door to her left somehow started to glow.
"What the heck?"
It was Amethyst, she looked like she was, ehh, 'sleeping' I think...? Wait, I thought gems didn't need this thing called sleep??
Amethyst, after 2 minutes of stretching, noticed Peridot.
"Hey, Peri. Whatcha doin?"
"Oh, uhm, nothing much, what about you?"
Amethyst started walking over to the kitchen.
"Just getting me some food"
Peridot was confused, she knew gems didn't need any substance like that gunk.
Maybe it's because of her being defective... Should I ask her if that's why?
Wait, no, she doesn't like when I talk about that, or when anyone does.
"Why?"
"I dunno, I just like to eat, I guess."
BOOM!! CRACKLE! ((How do you spell thunder sounds?))
"Eep!!"
Peridot dashed over to Amethyst, and gripped her arms around Amethysts waste.
Amethyst was confused
"Oh, uh, you ok Peri?"
Peridot shakes her head, that is buried in Amethysts shirt.
Amethyst closes the fridge, deciding she wasn't hungry any more.
"Uhm, I'm gonna go to my room now."
"Don't leave me!..... I mean... Can I go too?"
Peridot, yet again, was afraid.
"If you want to."
After what seemed forever
"Uhm, so, let's go."
"Y-yea."
