My Promise To You [COMPLETE]

You and Eris rode back to Magnolia, and headed straight to your guild base. When the both of you entered, everyone was in a depressing mood.

"(Y/N)! Thank goodness your back," Macao and Wakaba came up to the both of you, explaining everything that had happened.

"I should've been there... Don't follow me and don't look for me," you growled. "I'll finish him off. I'll kill Acnologia..."

"You'll be killed, (Y/N)-nee!" Romeo started tearing up, tugging your sweater. You picked him up, holding him tight in your arms to reassure him that you would be alright.

"Sorry, guys. But all the elements that I had learned was meant to kill the dark dragon. If I don't come back, that means I'm dead," you told them.

Romeo started bawling on your shoulders and everyone had a crestfallen look on their faces. But they agreed and packed everything you needed for your journey. They gave you food, clothing, and a lot of communication lacrimas. You and Eris went to Natsu and Happy's home, taking all of their jewels so that they wouldn't be robbed by anyone else. And so that you could use it.

You took a large sword from Erza's room at the women's dorm, Fairy Hills. You enchanted it with all the elements that you had learned during training.

Before leaving, you said your goodbyes to the city and flew off, trying to find the dark dragon.

You looked everywhere but couldn't find anything. You and Eris stayed a couple nights in the forest as you were searching, and eventually came across a mountain with a large cave and a clear, blue lake near it. The both of you walked up to the cave and heard large snores and growls.

You entered, telling your exceed to stay close, while getting closer to the sound. As your eyes adjusted to the dark, you saw a large, black dragon with blue marks all over it. Eris lifted you up above the dragons head, and you held the enchanted sword tightly.

Before you could slash down on it, the dragon woke up and snatched you out of the air with it's large claw. Eris suddenly disappeared from your sight.

"Eris!" You panicked.

"Who are you, little girl? I sense strong dragon slaying magic coming off of you," you heard a deep voice coming from the dragon.

"None of your business, bastard. I came here to avenge my brother and my guild!" You yelled at him, trying to squirm your way out of his claw. He tightened his grip and laughed in an mischievous way.

"Heh...I know who you are now. You're Mizura's child." He looked at you with his white eyes. You were shocked, and a chill went down your spine.

"H-How do you know Mi-chan?! Did you do something to her seven years ago?" You asked him in a ticked off way.

"She was my companion...before she left me for the damn Fire Dragon King. I, Acnologia, am the true king of all dragons..." He growled. "None of them can live, not even their children."

"So you went to the island to kill my brother and the rest of my family? You piece of shit," you spat. He began to cackle.

"I might as well keep you alive. You've got guts and you know all of the dragon slayers. You will lead me to them..." said Acnologia.

You snarled, "Never will I ever join a stupid bastard like you..."

"Oh really? Well...if you don't, I think you will enjoy his death too." He lifted his other claw, and opened it. Eris was inside, unconscious.

'H-How?!' You stared at him with wide eyes.

"I see that you're worried for this cat. Join me and I will spare this weakling of a comrade." The dragon closed his hand again.
