You Are My Everything

"Ok Danny I have good news.......And some bad news....."
" Pshhh.....ok well! Lets start with the good news!"
" Well.....You are recovering perfectly and should be out of here in 1 month and 5 days."
" Thats great! Now the bad news!"
" Danny.....I don't know how too put this......" Danny's mood went from joyful to scared and serious.
" Come on......it can't be that bad can it?"
" The surgery was a success, we removed the tumour. But.......uh.... we noticed something irregular in your left lung......We checked it out and it appears to be another tumour, and uh......I don't know if.....if uh.....if its life altering or nothing to worry about!" Danny had to take a moment to process what the doctor just said to him. He couldn't die. He couldn't leave Jess, she was his everything!

" And there is nothing you can do about it?" He said trying to remain calm.
" Yes.....But it would be a huge hazard because you just underwent a huge procedure that takes up too a month too recover from. I co-
Danny cut him off.
" Doctor no disrespect but, I don't care HOW HAZARDOUS IT IS! I will do it! I can't die not now!"
The Doc let out a loud sigh.
" I can't......"
" SO WHAT YOUR GONNA LET ME DIE!! LEAVE MY WIFE ALONE!!" At this point he was getting furious.
" You may not die!! It is only a small tumour, but the lungs are a very sensitive organ, anything could happen......"
" Your telling me its a 50-50 chance I got:....." Asks Danny looking straight into the doctors eyes.
" Well sort of......Eveything should be fine......I just recommend you come every month for a checkup, Just to make sure nothing goes wrong."
Danny let out a long sigh.
" Well it could have been worse right!" Says Danny.
" Yea I guess so......."
" But why did you tell my wife too leave, she could have heard this."
The doctor didn't answer straigh away.
" Beacuse..... These nurses here both saw what your wife was like waiting for you, She is in not state to hear this.....trust me!"
" Oh.....ok.......Can you bring her in back in here?"
" Yea....... Dianne can you go her?"
" Yea sure!" The nurse walked out and got Jess.
Jessica walked in and sat in the chair beside the bed. She looked at Danny and smiled then shot the doctor a look.
" Ok!! I will leave you two alone now."
Jessica nodded and the doc and his 2 nurses left the room awkwardly.
It stayed quiet in the room until Jess spoke up.
" Sooo.....What was that about?"
" Dont worry about it!" Danny didn't want her to worry about anything so he didn't tell her.
" Oh ok......" She sounded pissed off.
" Whats wrong with you?" aske Danny.
She shot him a glare and just stared at him.
" Oh nothing don't worry about it!" She said mocking him.
" C'mon Jess.....Why are you being like th-"
" Like what Danny!" She interrupted him. He closed his eyes and shook his head.
" Why are we fighting?"
" Danny......I hate when you don't tell me shit!"
" Jessie its for your own good alright!"
" Yea ok!" She rolls her eyes and gets up from the chair and stormed out of the room ignoring Danny calling her name. Tears started too build up in her eyes as she walked down the hospital hallway. She just hated that Danny wouldn't tell her what was going on. She knows she overreacted and she felt bad about how she treated Danny.
She figured she would go home get some rest then come back too Danny and apologize.

As Jessica walks down the hospital hallways yet again to Danny's room she gets this feeling of regret and it saddened her how she treated Danny.
She got to his room and the door was shut. She stood their for a minute thinking, then just pushed the door open rushing into the room.
Danny was fast asleep. She walked over too the bed and whispered his name a few times, but he didn't even stirr. She thought the nurse must have gave him stron pain killers and it knocked him out.
There was enough room for her to squeeze beside Danny and cuddle with him so she did. She squeezes into the little space on the bed and puts her arm around Danny, and quickly dozes off.

When she wakes up she see's a set of gorgeous hazel eyes staring at her. She smiles.
" Danny......I am so sorry....."
" Baby......I know you were frustrated, its alright." He kisses her forehead and pulls her closer too him.
" Everything will be alright!" Says Danny.

(2 weeks later)

" BABY YOUR LEAVING IN 1 WEEK!" I am so exited to get back home!"
" I can't either, I am sick of these rock hard beds and cheap sheets!! I want to leave today!" Danny pouts a bit and Jessica giggles.
" What is so funny?"
" When you pout it is really cute!"
" ohhhh......" He pouts again.
" Daniel, Dont make me come over there."
" But I want you too come over here....." He says giving her a seductive smile.
" Huh.....Really.....Well thats too bad I have too go get lunch! It will have to wait!"
" But Jess it has been to long!!" cried Danny
" Awwww too bad..... You are in recovery e can not have sex Daniel!" When Jess called him by his full name he knew she was serious so he stopped arguing.
" What do you want do you want for lunch?" Asked Jess.
" Nothing I am not hungry?"
" You sure!"
" yea!"
" ok! I will see you soon!" Jess walked over too his bed and kissed him goodbye.
