Unmended

Naruto walked down the side walk with Sasuke on his back. His body heat was raging hot, and it didn't help any being in the cool night air. Naruto sighed and looked up at the night sky. He noticed that it was taking way to long to find Sasuke's house and surly they were almost there. Sasuke interrupted Narutos thoughts confirm.
"Naruto turn up here." Sasuke breathed out into Narutos neck, which cause slight shivers to go up his spine. He did as he was told and turned onto the empty street. The streetlights lit up the sidewalks as bugs swarmed around the source of light. Naruto stopped walking when Sasuke tugged on the sleeve of his shirt.

"this is it." Naruto looked the massive expensive mansion up and down with wide eyes. There was large gates and it had a marble fountain in the middle of the driveway. It kind of reminded him of his old home. Naruto smiled at the brief memory of his family. He dropped his smile once he realized sasuke has fallen asleep. He looked over to the call button on the fence. Naruto took a deep breath in and pressed on the button.

"Hello, Sasuke, is that you? Where have you been? Are you ok?" Sasuke stirred from his sleep and dropped down from narutos back.

"Itachi open up." Sasuke started to collapse again but Naruto caught him in his arms just in time.

"Hello Mr.Uchiha. Umm, Sasuke is sick and he has a high fever." There was a long pause and nothing could be heard except Sasuke's breathing and the hoots and chirps from the woodland creatures.

"Ok hang I'll be right there." Naruto leaned back against the gates that suddenly flung open throwing him and Sasuke on the ground. Luckily, Sasuke had landed safely on his lap.
" sorry about that." The older Uchiha awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck.

"Yep no problem." He smiled in response and put Sasuke on his back in order to carry him inside. Itachi had invited naruto inside, and the two of them walked inside the house together.

"Thanks for bringing my little brother home umm-'

"Naruto" Itachi looked at naruto for a while and it finally came to him. he knew this boy. Itachi noticed that naruto had looked down at the ground and shifted uncomfortably. which made him chuckle a bit in amusement.  

"Ah, Kushina and Minato's son?" he smiled and lifted up one finger. Narutos head snapped up and his eyes glossed over. It's his expression dropped to a confused one.

"Yeah that's them." He smiled brightly but Itachi could tell it was fake.

"Well uh, tell them I said hello and I hope they enjoy their stay in Japan." Narutos fake smile dropped and he tightened his fists.

   "I will." There was a hint of sadness behind his voice and he turned around and walked off. Itachi noticed that it was getting really late and he invited naruto over to stay. he didn't want him to have to walk back home in the cold, but naruto politely refused saying he had business to take care of at home.

Sasuke woke up with a killer headache. he refused to open his eyes, and he pulled the blankets over his head to block what little light that was in his room.

"Sasuke are you awake?"

"Itachi, I need some water." His voice was hoarse and the spit clung to his dry, scratchy throat. Itachi handed sasuke a glass that looked clouded, but he didn't really care at this point. Once sasuke has finished the glass, he gave itachi a glare because he had realized the "clouds" was dissolved medicine tablets.

  "What little brother? I'm just trying to help you feel better. I'm sure that little Naruto of yours would want you to get better too."-I rolled my eyes and laid back down.

"Hn, where did he go anyways." Itachi looked up with one finger on his chin in thought.

"Home, I guess." He shrugged it off and pulled the covers back over sasuke, while placing an icepack on his burning forehead.

  "Get some sleep. I'm sure he'll be back tomorrow, along with a doctor that I called to give you a check up." Sasuke groaned as Itachi stood up and walked out of the room. Sasuke gently closed his eyes and fell into a dreamless sleep.

Naruto
I sighed and put my hands in my pockets. I shivered as the cool night air nipped at my nose and ears turning them a  rosy pink color. I took out my phone and called Jirayia so he would know I'm ok. It didn't even ring for a second.

  "Naruto! Where are you!? Kushina and Minato would turn over in their graves if they knew you were out this late!" I chuckled lightly into the phone and scratched the back of my head.

"Well you see, the thing is, I kind of had to bring this boy home because he got sick and couldn't walk." There was a long pause.

  "I can give you a ride home alright." Before he hung up, I could hear the sound of keys jingle. Wait, doesn't he need to know where I am first.

"Wa-wait don't hang-' I sighed, apparently not. It would be better off just to walk home so I did. As I was walking, I saw headlights in the distance. Where they following me? I decided to walk faster and the car sped up as well. I started to run, not even thinking about how a car could outrun me. Then the headlight closed in and a car horn went off.

"Yo Naruto, I thought you said you needed a ride." I sighed in relief once I saw the perverted grin of my god father, Jirayia. I smiled and hopped into the car.

  "How did you know where to find me." He looked over at me and grinned.

"Your looking at the world's most biggest perv, I think I have enough trackers to put on your school uniform." He reached over towards me and pulled a tiny black chip from my shirt collar. I gulped and grasped onto the tiny locater chip.

"What the hell old man, you have major issues." He smiled and continued to drive home.
