"They get this attitude from their father, I swear." All the while, I think they might just get it from her. Strong willed isn't always such a bad quality to have but it's not always the best.
"Thank you for today." I smile before following back to the house.
I meet Blake upstairs. He's placed London in her cot and is heading towards the bathroom. Before he lets the room swallow his presence, he looks over his shoulder and meets his cold gaze with mine.
"Don't withhold information from me again."
"I'm sorry," I apologise.
"Communication is the key factor to help out relationship," he adds.
My heart pounds in my chest, turning my cheeks warm. I know what makes a relationship work, just as what doesn't. I feel like I'm the only one trying by putting myself out of whack to make sure Blake's life runs smoother than it should.
"Do you know what also helps?" I call out. "Helping around the house instead of leaving me to deal with it all."
"See," he grumbles. "That's why we need to work on our communication."
"I'll promise to tell you next time." I cross my arms over my chest in defence.
Blake's stance soften, just as his burning green eyes does, "I promise to listen."
"I'm going to start dinner."
"Okay." He nods his head.
Blake returns to the bathroom and I head downstairs to the kitchen. I wash my hands and then proceed to pull out the ingredients for a chicken stir fry. I chop and cook the food before adding it into bowls and placing them on the table. Just as I take a seat, Blake walks down the stairs and smiles at me.
"Thank you for dinner."
"No worries." In a warm silence, we eat our food and take pleasure in each other's company. When we've eaten, I expect to clean the dishes, but Blake puts them away and throws me over his shoulder.
We head upstairs and he throws me onto the bed, a while glint in his eyes.
"We can do those tomorrow, I have something else in mind." His lips meet mine in a rough passionate kiss which sends my heart racing with excitement.
I wake up in the middle of the night to find Blake and London missing. I hurry downstairs and find the two of them downstairs in front of the picture wall. As I reach the bottom of the steps, I notice Blake slightly jump with fright.
"Sorry," I murmur.
"You're okay."
"Is London alright?" I ask.
"The fever is warming her head again," he replies.
"Have you put the cloth back on her head?" I ask.
"Yes, but it's not working." He frowns.
"Let me try." I take the flannelette and run it under the tap. We head upstairs and Blake lays her down in the cot. I place it across her forehead and wait. Blake wraps his arms around my waist and rests his chin on my shoulder.
"I'm sorry I haven't been around much," he says.
"I know it's not your fault," I admit.
"I just want to create a life for us outside of this house."
"I know that it sucks now, but I'm in this with you no matter what, Blake." I promised I'd never leave, and here is me keeping that promise. I understand that life isn't always easy, that things don't work out the way we hope, but I'm sure I can make it there if I keep trying, well, wherever there is... Blake gives me that sense of a there even though it's unforeseen.

Twenty-One Pilots were amazing, omg! We were seated on the balcony and Tyler came up and performed the ending of Car Radio right in front of us. I'm still excited, so I'm sharing this moment with you. 😍😍😍😍
