A First For Everything (Rogue x reader)

It's been four months since the incident at the guild. Wendy now had her stuff at Gajeel's house nd was settled in nicely, but Rachael still hasn't woken up yet. Gajeel had become very depressed and distant from everyone, even Pantherlily. Everyone was worried about him, but whenever they would try talking to him, he would grunt and walk away, he even turned down fights.

"Gajeel, I'm gonna go check on Rachel now okay?" Wendy said.

"Why bother, she's not gonna wake up anytime soon." Gajeel mumbled tears forming in his eyes. Gajeel and Wendy have hidden the fact that Wendy was adopted, they would tell everyone when Rachael woke up so they could announce it as a family. Gajeel had gotten used to being called dad by Wendy, that whenever she calls him by name at the guild it sounded weird.

Meanwhile on the other side of the guild, (Y/n) was sitting with Rogue who was visiting while Sting was talking to the master.

"How has your sister been?" Rogue asked (Y/n)

"She hasn't woken up yet... its been four months Rogue, what if she never wakes up again!?" (Y/n) started to tear up.

"Don't worry baby, she's gonna wake up any day now." Rogue comforted his lover.

The last four months, (Y/n) has matured a bit, and knew things she didn't know before. She now knew what is meant to be a mate, and what they do during matting season. When Sting told her this, (Y/n) hid in the closet until Erza pride open the door and sat with her until she calmed down. This happened multiple times, but for different reasons, Laxus had told her that Rachael was never gonna wake up. (Y/n) again locked herself in the closet, only to have Gajeel come in and comfort her as she cried over her sister.

Wendy went to go check on her mother, but when she got there, what she saw made the tears that she was holding in fall. There on the bed, sitting up, rubbing her exotic eyes, was Rachael. Wendy ran from the room to find and (Y/n), when she found them, she dragged them to the infirmary that they placed Rachael in four months ago.

"Wendy what's going on?" Gajeel questioned as the three of them ran into the room.

"LOOK!" Wendy pointed to an awake Rachael.

"...Sister..." (Y/n) gawked. Gajeel ran up to his lover and gave her a huge hug.

"Oh Mavis. I love you, I love you, I love you!" Gajeel cried.

"Umm... Who are you guys?" Rachael questioned.

"WHAT, YOU DONT REMEMBER ME!?" Gajeel asked in shock. Rachael just shook her head.

"I-I'm your boy-boyfriend, that's y-your sister (Y-y/n), and that's o-our adopted d-daughter W-Wendy." Gajeel stuttered.

"Pft. HAHAHA! YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN YOUR FACES! Phew, I'm sorry guys, I just had to." Rachael laughed.

"RACHAEL!" Everyone yelled.

"Hey I said I was sorry." Rachael shrugged.

"Don't you ever do that again, I was so afraid you had actually forgotten me." Gajeel hugged her crying, Rachael hugged back.

"How long have I been asleep?" Rachael asked.

"Four months." (Y/n) said straight up.

"FOUR MONTHS!?" Rachael yelled.

"I thought you were never gonna wake up!" (Y/n) burst out crying.

"Awe (Y/n) don't worry, you cant get rid of me that easy." Rachael said hugging her tightly.
