Party Poison POV:
I don't want to bring it up. It took a while to build up trust again with everyone who knew. But Toxic deserved to know.
I heard her go up to the roof, so I gathered up the courage and decided to tell her...everything.
What's the worst that can happen?
She won't love you anymore.
Well, either way, she's going to be pissed off at me, so it's now or never.
I trudge up the the roof.
She heard my footsteps.
"Who's there?" She said, her gun right at me.
I raise my hands,"we need to talk."
The moon light shines on her face, she went from alert to stone cold in a matter of seconds.
"Indeed we do."
I walk towards her and sit right next to her. She hugs her knees and scoots a little farther from me.
I sigh,"I'm sorry. For yelling at you like that. For not telling you about this, but Toxic, you have to understand, it's a touchy subject."
"Poison that's not the point. What do you think I'm gonna do? Tell everyone? Hate you for it?" She says irritably.
I don't answer that because yes, I do think shell hate me.
"I'm going to tell you everything. How I fell in love, how I screwed up, how I lost everything."
Her fave softened a bit, then she holds my hand and gives me a reassuring smile.
This is why I love her.
"Go ahead." She whispers,"tell me your story."
November of 2011
"There is talk about the government wanting to burn cities."
"Are you serious?" I asked.
"Yeah. If only people would do what they are supposed to, listen to the rules. These crazies are all out and ruining society. " she said.
I get into the bed and wrap my arms around her,"I know, but there's always going to be that one group of people." I say.
The crazies are rioting, killing people, and causing mischief all around. They don't have a disease, but just a group of people who are ruining the expectations of society. Things were quite well and they tear things up.
Cho hated them. She just wanted everything to be perfect.
"I think its the music they listen to. That screaming and whatnot." She says in disgust.
"Watch it, Cho. I listen to that, and I'm not destructive." I say as I kiss her fore head.
"Hopefully my business helps out with this. We can help people like them. Teach them how to live better.""Well, that's why its called Better Living Industries. " I said.
She Gave me a sweet smile then turned the lights off so we can go to bed.
"I love you" she says.
Janurary 2012
Cho's business is really starting to help out people, and the government has taken it into their hands to set off BLi, as they call it, on their feet. They even made a pill for the crazies so they aren't as...well, crazy. It makes them really calm and ...numb.
I honestly think it takes away emotion.
They put the headquarters in Battery City. Which is helpful because robots can help out with the work.
I see Who come out of her office. She was wearing a black pen suit, her jet black hair cascading over her shoulders.
I kiss her cheek. "Hey there."
"Not now, I have work to do." She says as she walks off for a meeting with the governor.
March 2012
They are making more pills, they even supply them in food. Cho has been busier, and they are planning something. The employees are all wearing creepy suits, and they are making scarecrow units, robots that track down the crazies, sometimes even killing them.
She is getting more distant, the business is booming.
July 2012
The fires. Cho said things were getting better, but they set off the fires. Millions dead. Innocent people. Cho said it was better off this way. But is it really?
December 2012
The towns are all cleaned now. BLi is now our government. Cho has made these pills a requirement for people.
She had Made rules. Pointless rules. Everyone must listen to the same music at the same volume. Wear same clothes. Have similar hairstyles.
She has created a Utopian society.
People who disobey her rules are sentenced to prison or even death.
This is not right.
What happened to the sweet woman I knew. The woman I loved?
February 2013
Dr. Deathdefying. A man who wants to set a rebellion. Against BLi. I attend it. I don't want to do this, but BLi is not good.....it is taking away everything from people. These people aren't even people, but robots.
About one hundred people show up. My brother shows up too, along with two of his friends. We were the first to arrive. We start planning. We gotta wear color, and keep identities a secret. Guns. Hair dye. We are the next rebellion. But this fight is worth fighting for.
April 2013
"So, what's BLi planning?" I ask her as I hug her waist.
"We are planning to have Draculoids, they are minions, and the secret Is in the mask." She says with a wink.
"Why are you not letting them feel? The people?" I ask.
She kisses the tio of My nose,"without their emotions, no opinions, no opinions, no fighting. They are easier to control, and they behave."
This is not the woman I fell in love with.
April 2013
I have been at the rebellion meeting every couple weeks. We have called ourselves the killjoys.
I am called Party Poison, and my group is Fun Ghoul, Jet Star, and my brother Kobra Kid. We also have Missile Gunner fighting with us. She is a tough bird.
There is talk about war.
June 2013
She doesn't come home anymore, she's at the office all day, and I'm with the killjoys, plotting. We've sent letters to them, warning BLi to stop what they are doing and to fight the good fight. But they are getting worse. More people controlled. More dead.
I meet with Deathdefying and the boys. Its time to leave what I once called home. We threatened war if they didn't stop, and we got a letter, written in Chi's handwriting, saying "bring what you have. Let the Analogs begin.
We are moving out to the desert.
August 2013
We've been in the desert for two months. Its hit and miserable, and food supply is short, but....its fun. We can listen to music as loud as we want. Wear what we want. I've even dyed my hair red. We gave over three hundred more recruits. We plan on going into battle next month. We will be ready.
September 2013
We are ready, and as we march into Battery City with our mask on, I get a command....and that was to kill Cho.
I stand in the front line . death and I sneak into the building and while everyone is out fighting, Cho is inside. Death and I barge in her office and he holds her down,"do it Party Poison. Now"
I think of when we first met. She was an intelligent lady, beautiful and elegant. I thought of our first date, first kiss, her soft lips tasting of peppermint. The sweet lady she was. The woman I loved.
"Party Poison? What kind of name is that?" She hisses out.
There has to be good inside of her. She can't be Stone cold. She's still there.
I take my mask off...maybe if she knows it is me..
"Gerard?" She yells,"how could you? A rebel?" She says with disgust.
"Kill her!" Death shouts.
She looms at me, pleading for help to get out of Death's grasp.
"No! I love her." I shout as I lush him away, knocking him out and hugging Cho.
"Come with me. We can't live like this." I plead
Her eyes are cold, and she punched and kicks me multiple times until I can't move. I couldn't hitnher back even if in wanted to.
"Get out of my site you piece of crap. You as nothing to me. Never were. This business is all I need. All I want. All I have time for. You are going to pay Party Poison." She says with venom.
She is gone. She is a stone cold heartless robot now. There is nothing I could do.
Death wakes up and he grabs me, and we run.
I was a coward. I should have killed her, and it would have been over. Death wouldn't be in a wheelchair because that day, he got shotnin the spine, preventing him to walk. Over half of the killjoys dies that first battle of the Analog Wars. And to this day, we are still fighting BLi. Because I couldn't do a simple task. Kill the person I thought I loved. The reason why people are still trapped in that city is because of me. So that is why Death doesn't want me to love again, because last time, it was the reason why war is still happening in the first place.
But this war has reasonWould you destroy something perfect in order to make it beautiful?
