Chapter 6

"I'm bisexual and she's been a pretty amazing person to me lately." Camila said.

"Whatever," Austin replied looking back at his phone.

Camila felt a buzz from her phone and saw a tweet from Lauren.

'@LaurenJauregui: @camilacabello97 miss you more nugget 😭😭😭'

Camila grinned at her reply and wondered what Lauren's plans for the night were.

While Camila was headed to the gala, Lauren was in the car with Brad and they had just finished dinner.

After about ten minutes of being driven by someone, Lauren asked Brad a question.

"Where are we going?" Lauren asked him and he rubbed his neck again.

"Uh...I'm so sorry, I know you said this wouldn't be a date but I kind of need you to be my date for tonight." Brad said in a rushed tone.

"...What? Are you kidding me?" Lauren asked and Brad shook his head.

"I really wanted to be seen with you at this gala! You're stunning and I thought it'd be nice for us to go together!" Brad said and Lauren sighed.

She rubbed her temples then looked up at him.

"Hold the fuck up. You said gala? We're going to a gala?" Lauren questioned and he nodded.

Lauren suddenly figured maybe it was the one Camila was going to. Maybe she could surprise her there and they could have a dance or two.

Lauren's mood brightened up and she sighed. "Whatever, fine. I'll be your fake date for the night."

Brad grinned and nodded.

"You won't be disappointed that I brought you tonight. Promise." Brad said and Lauren just nodded her head like she was listening to him.

Camila and Austin were on their phones when the car went to a stop and the driver looked back.

"We're here." He announced before getting out to open the door for them.

Rocco got out as well and waited till the two were fully out of the car.

Camila and Austin walked side-by-side and went down the carpet, interviewers calling them over.

Some interviewers were just calling one of the two over, neglecting the other.

"Camila! Over here!" A guy called out and Camila rushed over there, not letting Austin try to come with her.

She looked back and saw that he was caught up in an interview too. She hoped that he wouldn't say some bullshit about the two being together again or anything like that.

Camila felt like she was finally done with that idiot. She just needed to get out of these publicity stunts that included him in them.

She felt something with Lauren that she didn't feel with Austin so she realized that she couldn't and didn't want Austin in her life anymore.

Camila looked at the interviewer and he grinned, grabbing a picture from his assistant.

"So, Camila, I'm Shane and I went to Twitter and asked your fans what they wanted to know from you and what question to ask because of the little time we have," He said then turned the picture over.
