I have been waiting to do a Star Trek story for Awhile now... I really hope you guys like it!!! Vote and share!
There are going to be a lot of Star Trek terms and I'll put them here that way you know what they are...Shi'kahr- A main city of Vulcan the home world of Vulcans
G'teth- A berry bush native to Vulcan
I'su'ke-another berry bush^
Adronn feltara-basically a vegetarian meal for Vulcans
Class L Planet- a planet with only vegetation and no life forms, but has a life supporting atmosphere••••••
Star Date: 2247.5Jim's feet were beginning to blister thanks to the well worn sandals grinding into his feet as he ran. He could hear them in the distance chasing after him, he wouldn't go back- couldn't. He had just gotten back from Tarsus IV and couldn't stand it here, or anywhere with anyone. He had been close to dead when the rescue crafts had finally broken through to the rotten and destroyed planet. The people tearing each other apart and the fungus ravaging the planet, the one place Jim Tiberius Kirk had felt safe. He had friends, he wanted to and was doing amazing in school, he had a family that cared.
Now he was on Vulcan where he had been brought to try and "heal his mind", which hadn't been working...at all. Mostly it was just an excuse for his mom not to see him and his brother was half way across the galaxy. Knowing this the medical services brought him here but nothing they told him worked. He still remembers the smell of blood and looking at the walking skeletons of the children under his care. He still remembers Kevin and Thomas crying in the mud.
Jim stumbled over a jagged rock outcrop and fell, cursing and earning a large cut on his leg. The Sehlats roared as they began to catch up with the new scent of blood with their Vulcan riders on their shoulders. Jim pulled himself up again and ran around another rock outcropping over his head. There was a spring under it with few of the well known plants of Vulcan around it, G'teth and I'su'ke. A small Vulcan boy ,about Jims age, sat next to the spring and seemed to be meditating and quickly looked up when Jim arrived. Jim paid him no mind and scurried deeper into a crevice, wincing as the rocks bite into his broken flesh. He stared again at the boy now staring at him. He looked Vulcan but he seemed to have human eyes, a dark chocolate brown that made Jim feel at ease. It seemed to do the same for the boy as he looked back at Jim.
"You are hurt." The boy spoke.
"No shit Sherlock." Jim snapped, I don't have time for this. I have to move soon, they will be here any second."How would a human novel series about a genius, by human standards, detective have any importance in this situation? Let alone the rough analogy to feces?" The boys voice was small and firm.
Jim stared for a second, he was starting to like this kid and he just met him. "Who are you?"
"I am-"
The Sehlats were suddenly there and some of the riders hopped off and headed towards Jim. Jim was slow now to exhaustion and his wounds, still trying to evade them as he got up. The Vulcan boy had stood and seemed startled as his fellow brethren made multiple grabs at Jim. The Vulcan child tried to help but was shut down by one glare of a rider. In the end he failed to get away as he was surrounded. They dragged him back to the Sehlats, he reached back for the Vulcan boy, for any help to stop them, and grabbed his hand. A burst of warmth and energy shot through him at the touch. The Vulcan boy looked at him in shock but by then Jim was already unconscious on the back of a Sehlat and heading back to ShiKahr. Little did Jim know that he would see the Vulcan boy again but as his first officer.
