Eldon POV
I am at Riley and James apartment because I need to see Riley to ask her something. I knock on the door and I see Riley's small figure appear behind the door.
R-Oh hey Eldon. James is at band practise at the moment. Do you want me to pass on a message?
E-No I came to see you actually.
R-Oh okay, come in.
E-Thanks.
I walk into their apartment and look around at all the photos of us at Regionals and Nationals and some places that look like they are ready for pictures of Internationals. I sit down on their couch.
R-Can I get you anything?
E-No I'm fine, thanks.
R-Okay, so what do you want to talk about?
E-James...
R-Oh.
E-Don't you think he's being really distant lately? I mean he won't talk to us boys even during rehearsal and he doesn't even spend the amount of time he used to with you. He just doesn't seem the same.
R-Yeah I know he's just got a lot on his plate with the band and Internationals.
E-Yeah I get that but...
R-Don't even worry about it. OK?
Just as I'm about to answer I see James walk in looking angry and shouting.
J-RILEY WHERE ARE YOU? YOU BETTER BE IN HERE.
I look at Riley as she gulps and stares at me.
R-You might want to go.
E-Yeah sure I'll see you tomorrow.
R-Yeah.
I stand up to leave and pass James and he looks at me as if he thinks that I know something that he has been doing. Riley goes up to him and he puts his arms securely around her waist and I'm sure I hear a little yelp but I just forget it.
J-Yo Eldon, how you doing?
E-I'm great.
R-He's just leaving.
She looks at me nodding her head as if she trying to protect me from something.
J-Awesome. I'll see you at rehearsals tomorrow then.
E-Yeah see you then?
I walk out and the door quickly shuts behind me closing the real reason for James' absence.
Riley POV
As soon as the door shuts James lets go of my waist and walks away. The real reason James has been absent and not really there lately is because he found out I'm pregnant with a baby girl and he blames me for ruining his life so he's been so angry at me and his friends.
I gulp and walk into the lounge area and see him sat on the couch watching football. I sit down next to him and try to get his attention.
R-James?... James?...... James?
J-What?
R-How was band practise?
J-How do you think? I can't even focus cause all I'm thinking about is the fact that you are having my baby and it's all your fault.
R-Are you joking me?
He stands up looking angry at me I stand up as well trying to add extra height even though I'm a lot shorter than him.
J-I know I should of never been with you ever since we were together my life has been a big mess. And know you top it off with getting yourself pregnant and now your complaining like everything's about you. You are so stupid.
When he instantly says that he knew he was wrong.
J-Ri, I'm so sorry
R-No James if that's what you really think then we are over. I'm moving back in with my family and I'm looking after my baby by myself and you won't even get to see her.
J-No Ri. Please don't do this.
R-It's already done. I'll come pick my stuff up later when you've calm down.
I run out of our, no James apartment and slam the door shut crying and slide down the door. I've lost him and my baby has lost her father.
