"I'm sorry miss but your body seems to be decaying as we speak..."

You already knew that though. Ever since middle school, you began to get many injuries and felt very sluggish and had a loss of energy. No longer able to participate in most things you were taken to the doctors only to find out that it was some sort of disease or poison eating at your body.

You managed to survive it throughout the years, and here you are now working with many new friends you gained. But one person you met had caught your eye. Osamu Dazai. Even though he was a suicidal freak you couldn't help but be drawn to him. You didn't know much about him and he didn't know much about you as you never showed emotions and was very quiet.

But even so it was wonderful meeting him.

A hand grasped yours and fingers interlocked. Leaning in you could feel the other breath upon your lips just a little bit closer. Hands released their grip on the other and they wrapped around his neck his arms slowly snaking their way around your waist. You pulled him in for a kiss as you both stood there enjoying this moment. You then pulled away and looked into his eyes. They were beautiful.

Moments like these you two shared were complete bliss to both of you.

Once in a while Dazai would propose a lovers suicide to you but you would always decline. You wanted to spend as much time with him as possible.

"I'm sorry miss (y/n), but your body seems to be decaying at an even faster rate than before."

Your eyes widen as you heard the doctor say that.

"I fear that the longest you will be able to live is about four to five days... five at most."

Your vision began to get blurry as your eyes filled with tears. You quickly wiped them away before you they could fall.

You thanked t be doctor as you left.

'Four days huh?'

'I'm sorry Dazai'

You looked down at your feet holding back the tears. Once again.you wiped them away before they could fall.

Day 1

"Ne Dazai-kun?" You asked as you stood in front of him.

He hummed in response looking at you. "I was hoping that we could spend a much time as possible this week!" You embarrasedly said to him. You blushed when a wide grin spread on his face and he chuckled.

"That does seem reasonable but suicide by hanging is the most common! If you wanted to commit suicide you should do something more exciting!" You agrued

"But hanging is a way of suicide, suicide is beautiful and hanging doesent hurt much!" Dazai agrued back.

Soon you both chuckled at the stupid argument. And just agreed that lovers suicide was the best choice instead of commiting suicide alone.

Day 2

You both sat in a restaurant which was his idea this time.

"You know I love you right Dazai?" He hummed and smiled. "Of course but you can't love me as much as I love you!" He responded earning a giggle from you.

Spending time sharing jokes and talking about ways to mess with kunikida was what you two did along with drinking sake and just having fun.

To end the night you both kissed once again.

Day 3

You were both busy with work today....

Dazai mostly slacked off but you had tons of work to finish.

None of you got to see each other today.

You felt a sharp pain in your heart but that was drowned out by the sound of you coughing as you writhed in pain ay home that night.

Taking a few pills the doctor prescribed you, the pain went away in a short time.

You were almost out of time.

Either tomorrow or the day after would be your end.

Day 4

Dazai forced you  to come to a park with him. You prepared tons if food and sake to have a picnic just the two of you.

Dazai also managed to find a perfect line spot for just the two of you. Dazai tried to sneak some dessert first but you stopped him with your deadly glare.

A day filled with peace was just what you two had.

"Ne (y/n)-chan why were you so eager to spend time with me this week?" Dazai questioned as you laid your head of his chest. He them fake gasped "Could it be that your so in love with me you can't bear to be away from me?" You giggled and hit his arm playfully as he chuckled.

You didn't answer his question and he didn't bother to ask again.

As you two were packing up he placed a chaste kiss on your lips which caused you to blush. Ever since you met dazai you began to open up more to others which led you to your current situation. Being able to laugh with the one you love and others was all you needed to forget.

Day ------

You gasped as you fell on the floor. You were now having a hard time breathing. And them you couldn't walk anymore. You had to call someone, you had to get help, you had to see Dazai one last time-

You couldn't breathe anymore your lungs were dying and you couldn't speak. Soon you began to cough uncontrollably.

As coughed out blood, but the coughing wouldn't stop. More blood more pain.

You used your last but of strength to pull yourself across the floor using only your arms. You reached for the phone but your vision began to get spotty. Your arm was getting so heavy you couldn't lift it anymore.

You just lied there unmoving.

'Sorry Dazai I won't be able to see you tomorrow'
