It Boy

I woke up on a couch in a new place. I looked around and realized I was at Kendall's.

"The moving truck will be here around 2:30. " Kendall said walking I got he living room. I sat up and looked at her. "Okay, thanks," I reply standing. "I made coffee and pancakes. You better hurry, you have work at 12:00," Kendall tells me. I quickly walk to the kitchen and make my plate. I get my coffee, then begin eating.

After eating, I go upstairs and changed into short jean shorts, a black tank top, and a yellow cardigan. I put on black short converse with white laces. I left my hair natural and down.

"Later Kenz, I'll see you at 3:00," I reply. "Okay, bye," Kendall saids waving. I go outside and see I don't have my jeep.

Leah: can you go get my car at Taylor's place? I'll give Austin a call for a ride.

Kendall🐶- okay 👌🏼

I texted Austin and he said he'd be here in a minute.

"Thanks for the ride, " I say getting out. "Have fun at work and no problem," Austin saids smiling. I waved goodbye and run into the store. Right on time. "Hi, Mrs.Kelly," I say smiling at my boss. "Hello, Miss Rose. Today I need you working cosmetics. Here's your name pin," She tells me smiling back. I put on my name tag that saids my first and last name. I work in the Mac Make Up room in the mall. You don't have a uniform unless your the one doing someone's make up.

"Hey Lee," Kathleen, one of the girls I work with, said walking up to me. "What's up?" I reply re-stocking the red lipsticks. "Me and the girls are going out for drinks tonight, you wanna bring a friend?" She asks leaning up against the wall. "Oh yeah. I'll text Kendall. Thanks girl," I say smiling. She smiles back. "No problem, pick y'all up at 8:0?" She asks. "Yeah I'll text you the address," I say. She nods. "Kathleen! We need your help!" One of the make up artist say. She looks back at them, smiles at me , and then heads that way.

I pulled out my phone and texted Kendall.

Leah: hey girlie, wanna go get drinks with me and some people from work?

Kendall🐶- totally!

Leah: okay Kathleen will pick us up at 8:00.

Kendall🐶- okay

I put my phone up and go to re-stocking foundations.

"How does this look?" Kendall asked twirling. She had on a black mini dress, with red pumps, curly hair, and light make up. "You look pretty, what about me?" I asked twirling as well. I had on a pastel pink mini dress that had a white flower on the left strap, nude pumps, natural hair, and light make up. "Perfect!" She tells me. I hear a ding and Kendall and I head down stairs.

"Ready girlies?" Kathleen asks smiling. "Oh yeah!" Kendall replied laughing. Kathleen laughed and we followed her to the limo. "Wow, you girls really know how to party?" I say to Kat. She smirks as we climb in. "Who's this?" Rebecca ask pointing to Kendall. "This Kendall. She's my best friend," I say smiling at Kendall she smiled back and waved. They all said hey.

"Here's to having fun!!" Katie shouts and raises her shot class. We all shout and whoop, raising our glasses as well. We all took our shots. "Let's go dance, girls!" Kathleen yells over the music. We all shout and follow her.

I'm dancing with Kendall and Rebecca when I see a familiar guy. "Austin?" I asked stumbling to him. "Leah?" He asks. I hug him. "Let's go dance!" I say smiling. He smiles and follows me to the dance floor. We're dancing and laughing all through the dance.

"Hey Leah, we're leaving. Bethany is throwing up," Kathleen saids pulling my arm. I smile. "Okay. " I say. She smiles at Austin then heads off. "Bye Austin, I had fun with tonight," I say smiling. I hug him goodbye. As I'm pulling way, Austin holds my arm tighter. I smile and look up at him. He's leaning in. Oh-no. I leaned away and finally broke free from him. He looked at me. "Bye Austin," I say walking away. "Leah, come back!" He shouts. I quickly walk to the limo.

I get inside the car and look out the window. Austin's standing outside the club shaking his head. I lean back and close my eyes, letting out a deep sigh.

"Bye girls, see y'all around," Kendall said waving goodbye. "Bye! See y'all!" Bethany shouts. I chuckle and wave goodbye.

Kendall and I get inside. "See you in the morning," I say yawning. "Yeah. I'll make coffee for sure," she replies. I chuckle and head up stairs. I go in my room and see it's all set up. I smiled. "Kendall is such a sweet heart," I say walking in. I changed into a white tank top, grey sweatpants, washed off my make up, and put my hair in a messy bun. I climbed into bed. Right as I was about to drift off my phone pinged. Probably Jack trying to annoy me, i think rolling my eyes.

Taylor: I'm moving back Omaha. I'm sorry for being rude to you. I hope you do good here. Have fun.

I read her text over and over. She's moving back. I texted Jack.

Leah: JACK!

Jack Johnson😍- what Leah?

Leah: Taylor's moving back to Omaha!

Jack Johnson😍- do you blame her?

Leah: what's that suppose to mean?

Jack Johnson😍- her "best friend" moved out in the middle of the night. Y'all fought for three days. I would leave too.

Leah: oh...

I texted Taylor back.

Leah: okay, good luck. I hope you find a good college.

She read it. I laid back down and sighed loudly. She's leaving? "Hey Lee?" Kendall asks coming into my room. I sit up. "yeah?" I asked. "I wanna thank you," she saids. "For what?" I ask smiling. "For being my friend. In high school the girls made fun of me. I never had a friend. My first boyfriend was because his friends told him if he dated me then they would pay him 200 dollars each. " she saids wiping a tear. I hold my arms out. She walks over to me a smiles. "You really mean a lot. Your an amazing friend," she tells me through tears.

I hug her tight. "Your welcome boo. I'm always here for you," I say. We let go. I smile at her. She smiles back. "Well, I better let you sleep. Good night Lee " Kendall saids. "If you ever need to talk I'm here. " I say looking hard at Kendall. She smiles. "Thank you," she saids. "Goodnight Kenz," I say laying back down. She turns out the lights and shuts the door.

Suddenly Taylor moving doesn't seem so bad.
