It's been a week since the incident, and you were constantly thinking about the feeling a week ago, the pleasant feeling you had when you hugged Karma.
What was so good about that feeling?
Your thoughts were cut off when a nurse came in to ask if you needed help. Earlier today you were told you were allowed to leave the hospital.
You simply replied no thank you.
You went to pack your belongings when your phone rang.
You stood up from your bed and reached for your phone.
It was from Karma.
You felt a sudden excitement. Quickly, you unlocked your phone and opened the text message.

Karma
Are you out of the hospital today?

I'm packing

Karma
Okay
Want to hang out some time tomorrow?

Sure

Great. I'll go pick you up tomorrow at 10:00

You slightly smiled.
Your heart was beating a little faster and you were excited.
Since that day at the park, you've been having this weird feeling towards him and you were always thinking about him. You had no idea why and there were times you tried to stop yourself but failed.
You checked out and quickly exited the hospital.
A taxi driver pulled up. Well not just any, your taxi driver pulled up.
You hurriedly and got inside to be greeted by Aruto, your personal driver.
He smiled warmly at you, "It's glad to see you out of the hospital, (y/n)-sama."
You hesitated to respond. "Please, no need to address me like that. (Y/n)-san is enough." You replied politely. You had no right to be addressed that way anymore.
Has he not heard about me?
"I've called you that all your life." He replied as he started driving.
There was a long silence before you spoke. "You haven't heard about me?"
He too, took awhile to reply. You turned took look at him. You could see his brown eyes through the rear mirror. His soft blue hair lied just above them.
"(Y/n)," he finally spoke, "whether you are respected by your father or not, you'll always be respected by me. I've served you and your family my whole life, you were always someone I looked up to. You lost your position, but that won't change a thing, you're still the same girl."
His voice was so soft and soothing.
That's right. Aruto has always been by your side. He was like a brother to you.
You caught him looking at you through the rear mirror, and smiled.
Your smile was faint but noticeable.
"Thank you, Aruto." You replied softly.
"It's been ages since I seen you smile." He suddenly said, giving a soft smile.
"Has it? I don't remember ever smiling."
"You were really young."
"You remember everything, don't you?"
"Of course. I've been by your side since you were born. You loved smiling when you were a toddler."
You chuckled a little, maybe one day you'll get him to talk to you about your childhood which you had forgotten through these years. It was weird, you're so young, yet you had no memory of it at all.
There was silence again. You desperately wanted to speak. You don't remember ever having this much fun speaking to Aruto.
So you spoke.
"I met someone."
You saw him glance at you from the rear mirror for a second. "Someone?"
"Yes... I don't know how to describe this but he's different. He made me feel some sort of way I can't explain. My heart would beat so fast when I'm around him, but I still really want to be with him. Aruto, do you know this kind of feeling?
Aruto smiled, he knew what she was trying to say. "Yes, I've had similar experiences."
"You have?" You asked curiously. "Tell me about it"
He chuckled. "It's the feeling you have when you adore someone. Or when you're attracted to them, I guess."
You sat there, thinking about what he was saying.
"It's called love."
You looked at him for a second, than leaned against the door and looked out the window. Love. You heard the word before. Is that what it is? I... Love Karma?
You jumped a little at the thought, your face was slightly red. You shook your head fiercely.
What am I thinking?
You calmed down and rested yourself against the door again.
You thought about Karma and smiled a little.
Maybe.
