Eventually we finished everything and I was truly exhausted. I slowly went up the stairs, while my dad paid and chatted to the van owners. Already knowing which bedroom was mine, I quickly stepped inside. My chosen room's walls were painted bright yellow, my favorite color. There was a big window right across from my bed with a little sill that I could sit on.

The window was curtain-less but I didn't mind. The room was already amazing and I hadn't even personalized it yet. I stood by the window comparing the houses on the opposite road to each other, while at the back of my head thinking wishfully of what I could be doing if I was back home.

I went back down the stairs and saw my dad walking back in.

'Hey honey, do you wanna go out to have a bite, and then do some shopping? At the moment we only have crisps and chocolate' He gave me a crooked smile and I grinned.

We made our way into town, dad having to stop three poor people on the way, bombarding them with questions to get into town, even though it turned out only to be a five minute drive away from our house.

After about thirty minutes we were in a small but classy Chinese restaurant with a tall and pretty lady called Choo Yan serving us. She seemed to have the hots for my dad, as she came to our table one too many times.

After that we went into one of the many grocery shops to do some shopping. By the time we got home I was too exhausted to do anything so I went straight to bed.

I woke up to hear my phone ringing 'My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard, and damn right it's better than-'

'Hello'? I croaked into the phone.

'ROSE! Ohh my days, how many times do I have to ring before you pick up your phone? Girl I've been missing you like crazy'! I heard my best friend roar over the phone.

'Kelis! Are you trying to deafen me' I asked a grin spreading over my face. 'Lol I've missed you too, although if I’m correct the last time I saw you was only 37 hours ago' I continued sitting up on my bed and patting my messed up hair.

'Girl, in my books that’s 50 years'. She laughed 'Anyways how’s life treating you? Have you got Robin yet?'

'No, I don’t think so, my mum said that she should arrive around 7pm later today' I replied frowning and starting to wonder about when my beloved horse would finally arrive.

'Yeah because I saw her get collected in some sort of van thingy about an hour ago' she said, reassuring me. 'Anyway, I got to go Rose my cousins are coming over and my mum is making me do the stupid dishes' She sighed.

'Ohh, sssssshhhhhaaaaaammmmmeee, well bye then bestie'. I laughed as I exaggerated the word 'shame' to get on her nerves. I knew she hated washing dishes, but she hated her chaotic cousins ten times more, and it didn't help that they were all below of the sane age of 8.

'Lol okay, baiii'.

'DAAAAAAADDDDDD! I shouted jumping out of bed and running towards my door. I wizzed to my dad's bed room.

'DAAAAUUUUGGGGHHHHHTTTTEEEERRR'! My dad vaguely shouted smiling at me. He was sitting down finishing off his latest master piece.

Did I tell you my dad is an architect? He is soo amazing at drawing everything, although now his specialty is buildings. He recently got a new job here in this little town, that’s why we moved here, and that’s how we could afford this place.

'Hey dad, has Robin arrived yet?' I asked pulling a chair and sitting next to dads desk.

'No, she should arrive in a few days darling, be patient'.

I sighed.' Okay, I'll go and make us some pancakes ' I said huffing and lazily getting up. Only to realize half way down the ginormous stairs that we didn't get any eggs. Typical.

After a quick shower and a change of clothes I made my way out, yelling my good byes to dad. It was still as hot as yesterday, and already I felt a little overdressed in my thick hoody. Maybe I should go and change? After all t-

'Hi gorgeous' said a mysterious, yet high pitched male voice. I turned around to see a tall, emerald eyed boy standing next to a bike full of newspapers, grinning wildly at me.

'Hey' I said smiling up at the golden locked boy. He winked while I admired his dimples. 'You're not too bad yourself 'I said, winking back. He got off his bike and started walking with me down the road, tossing a newspaper above my head every few feet.

'And you are..?' I asked raising an eyebrow.

'James, but wait, don't tell me...Your name is…Rose!' He exclaimed gasping dramatically, while I stood there gapping at him, while he continued grinning at me and nodding his head.

'Close enough' I said recovering with a smile. 'It's actually Rosalie, Rosalie Winter'
