A/N: I've taken all the advice that you guys gave in the first chapter and editted the second one quite thoroughly so hopefully this chapter will be better. I'm sorry if I disappoint, I'll try to improve on the next chapter! Just give me your feedback. Thanks for the votes too, because this story made it to the 'What's Hot' list and it's my first time so... I'm over the rainbow with unicorns now.
Enough ranting, please enjoy the second chapter! ^_^

The four of us reluctantly trudged out of the warm cinema and into the blistering cold night. The whole street was lit up with only the lampposts and not a soul was wandering around, different from when I was making my way to the cinema. “The movie was so scary! And here I thought unicorns were cute.” Claire pouted and Axel casually slung an arm over her shoulder, smirking, “It’s alright, we’re here for you!”
All of us broke into silly grins and decided to bid our goodbyes. They left in the opposite direction while I strolled my way home. An involuntary shiver ran down my spine and I tugged on my coat. My mind was still reeling from the movie I watched. Some of the lamp lights were flickering, making it look like they were shivering from the blistering cold.
However, I couldn’t shake off the bad feeling. My pace quickened unknowingly and my heart stopped for a millisecond as footsteps echoed from behind me.
I whirled around and a firm hand covered my mouth. My attempts to struggle against him were futile when he held me against his firm body. Why is it a man? I whined mentally while hoping to break free.
My heart was thudding loudly and I did what came to my mind at first – that was to lick the stranger’s palm. It seemed to work all the time in dramas I’ve watched before.
Yep, I landed a sloppy tongue on the stranger’s palm which irked me although I couldn’t taste anything from it. Unfortunately for me, the stranger just chuckled lowly, the scent of spices hitting my nostrils.
“You’re one naughty girl, Hayzel,” He muttered near my ear.
From the corner of my eyes, there was something shimmering in his free hand; a dagger, “Naughty girls like you need to be punished.”
My heart went into overdrive when he trailed the edge of the dagger along my neck.
How did he know my name?
“Brother, how good of you to join us. We were just having fun.” The assailant’s velvet-like voice crooned, his gaze not leaving me. Who was he talking to?
Just then, someone materialised right in front of us. He looked familiar and it was the eyes that gave him away. Those steel grey eyes…
“Let her go, you can’t directly hurt her, it’s against the rules.” The one in front asserted, but the dagger was pressed even harder against my neck. Surprisingly, it didn’t even hurt or draw any blood, but I did flinch.
“Oh lighten up Ayden,” The dagger guy lifted his weapon to my exposed cheek, “This dagger isn’t even real.” So the grey-eyed guy who saved me before was known as Ayden.
The fact that the dagger wasn’t real didn’t seem as assuring as it sounded, because I was still wedged in his arm and my freedom of speech was restricted by his hand over my mouth.
“What is going on?” I hollered, but it came out as a muffled cry. Both of them stared at me amusedly and I could feel my cheeks warming up from the attention.
Now that I could think semi-clearly, Ayden looked like someone who came out of a magazine cover. His side swept bangs and tousled hair was so mesmerising. There was an awkward silence between the three of us.
