as the rest of the day continued with hoseok, yugyeom and bambam pretending like nothing happened, it started getting late as they all bid one another a goodbye

as they all parted ways, hoseok ended up walking with yugyeom, explaining that he needed to talk to someone near his neighborhood. there was a long silence between the both of them before hoseok decided to break the quietness

"what are you gonna do?" hoseok asked as yugyeom just groaned, remembering the incident between bambam and himself. but he shrugged as a response. and once again, silence. that is until they made it to yugyeom's house.

"hyung, by the way... where are you going?" yugyeom questioned as hoseok smiled

"jungkook invited me over... he's still ignoring taehyung so he wants me to help distract him..." hoseok explained

"but secretly i'm also helping taehyung by telling him what kookie likes, does, if he ever talked about him... they're both love sick idiots who won't come clean" hoseok chuckled before waving to yugyeom a goodbye and walking away

as yugyeom entered the house, he sees familiar shoes lined up against the shoe rack

"hyung?" yugyeom shouted

no response

"jinyoung hyung?" yugyeom shouted once again, only to find him sitting on the couch and staring at the tv. not even blinking.

"hyung..." yugyeom whispered as he took a seat next to jinyoung. as he got closer, he could see that jinyoung was actually crying

"hy-"

"you still do, don't you?"

"wh-"

"why did you do it..." jinyoung's voice cracked as another tear slowly fell

"i-i i don't know what you're talking about" yugyeom lied as jinyoung's grip around his hand got tighter

"you almost kissed bambam...." jinyoung felt his heart crumble and yugyeom's eyes just widens

"how'd you-"

"you butt dialed... worst way of telling me by the way..." jinyoung spat the last part oyt, causing yugyeom to look down

"i-i didn't mean to" yugyeom whispered as he sat down on the opposite couch with guilt rising. jinyoung just let out a frustrated sigh before getting up and running his fingers through his hair.

"do you still like him?" he asked, eyes closed using a stern tone. yugyeom felt scared to even give him a simple yes or no answer

"i-i" yugyeom didn't know what to say

"don't lie to me yugyeom.... i'll understand... yes or no" jinyoung asked once more now facing his back to yugyeom. as yugyeom sighed, he figured that his answer was right... he still did

"hyung, i really did like you too though, i mean it... but-" before yugyeom could finish, jinyoung covers his mouth and let out a sad sigh, but faked a smile

"you should tell him..." jinyoung whispered, causing yugyeom's eyes to widen at his response.

"w-what.." yugyeom mumbled inside of jinyoung's hand, which he then removed

"he has two weeks left here... you two clearly had a strong thing... and obviously you still like him a lot even though he doesn't remember you, you still try... plus he makes you're smiles look more real.. more real than how you smile around me... you're free now. you don't need to worry about me. just go get him back" jinyoung fakes a smile at end, but hoping that yugyeom wouldn't notice.

"h-hyung" yugyeom tries to come closer, but jinyoung stops him

"he's at the cafe... you can meet him now. i'll be fine, now go" jinyoung pushes him out, and once again gives him a fake smile.

but once yugyeom thanks him and starts to run towards the cafe, jinyoung shuts the door and slides down slowly before breaking down. this was the second time that this had happened.

first youngjae, now yugyeom.

although with youngjae, that's a different story.

as jinyoung finally gave up and let all his tears fall, he knew that he did the right thing. but who knew how much doing the right thing would hurt so much. that is until someone knocked. and not bothering to wipe his tears, he opens it and sees a familiar face holding tissues, ice cream and a movie.

" jinyoung, i told yugyeom that i would go to jungkook's place but, i feel better with you... sorry..." the person whispered as they wiped his tears

"i could really use your company right now" jinyoung whispered as he let the person in and shut the door lightly behind him.
