As I tuck the girls into the Spare bed that I have now that I'm living on my own they smile. "Love you dad" They both say I kiss their cheeks repeatedly causing them to both laugh uncontrollably. "Dad! Get off us!" Alana says through her laughs I obey getting off walking out of the room "Goodnight girls I love you" I say before flicking off the lights and shutting the door. I run my hands through my hair walking down the hall into my room where I collapse on the bed. Alana's better now better than what she was Her nightmares are no longer as bad. Everything was going fine except for Spencer and I we just weren't working But we're moving on. Our kids are now our first priorities always have been Really.

The next Few days have been amazing I've gotten to spend so much time with The kids. Their so full of life and passion Their amazing kids and I'm honoured to be Their father. I open the front door where Spencer stands "Hi" She says with a small frown "Hey Spencer" I say worried as to why she looks so upset "Please come in" She nods walking into the house I close the door behind me. "Are you Okay?" I ask softly she bites her bottom lip "Yeah" She mumbles I roll my eyes "Spencer i know you and I know that you're not Okay" She looks away wiping her tears "Spence what's wr-" I'm cut off when Alana and Caroline run to her. As Spencer hugs them tightly I see her eyes fill with tears. I always hated seeing Spencer cry there's nothing worse than seeing someone you love Cry. As the girls pull away from her I speak up "Why don't you girls go out to the car while I talk to your mum?" They nod walking out to the car where it was parked on the drive way. I close the door behind me "Spencer What's wrong?" She shakes her head tears streaming down her cheeks I reach out grabbing her hand twining our fingers together. "Talk to me" I plead wanting to Help Spencer she looks at me tiredly "It's nothing" She mutters I don't believe that "Spencer please" She closes her eyes letting out a painful sob that breaks my heart. "I miss you" She cries pushing my hand away as she uses it to cover her mouth. I walk toward's her but she only pushes me away further "Spencer please stop walking away" She ignores me but this time I bring her into my arms our chests pressed against each other's. I rest my head on her hips "I miss you too Spencer" She lifts her head from my chest looking at me "I can't keep doing this Toby" She cries "I'm so in love with you that it hurts but I can't keep doing this I have to let you go" I tighten my grip on her cupping her cheek "Spencer..." I whisper closing my eyes as I rest my forehead against her's. Our lips mere inches away from each other I move forward a little and they would just touch. "Goodbye Toby" She whispers pulling away running out of the house "Spencer!" I shout running after her but it's too late She's already in the car driving down the street.

Spencer-
I haven't seen or spoken to Toby for a while now and honestly I can't stop thinking about him. But we're divorced we made that decision because we weren't working and we were thinking about our children's happiness. The kids we're at my parents house at the moment and I was glad because I didn't want them seeing me like this. This Broken person who was struggling to survive without Toby "Spencer!" I hear Toby shout from outside my front door I jump in surprise. Wiping my tears away I take a deep breath opening the front door "Hey" I mumble he doesn't respond only walks into the house pacing around back and forth. "The girls aren't here" He turns facing me "I'm not here for the girls" He mumbles approaching me I back up until I'm pressed against the front door. "I'm here for you" He says softly resting his hands on my hips "God I've missed you" He groans smashing his lips against mine. His tongue pushes into my mouth as I moan in delight I pull away "What are we doing?" I pant breathlessly "I'm taking care of my Girl" He says before kissing me back hard and passionately. I wrap my arms around his neck as I push myself off the door He wraps my legs around his waist. "I love you too Spencer" He whispers in my ear kissing down my neck "And I'm never ever letting you go again" I open my eyes to see him staring at me "Tell me you love me" He smirks I smile "I love you Toby Cavanaugh"
And I always will nothing will ever stop me from loving Toby Cavanaugh.

So I know they weren't exactly Divorced for Very long in the Chapters but In the Book they we're divorced for 2 Years
