Flashback...
Three weeks ago...

You and Natsu were walking in the village after you called down a bit from the anxiety attack. Natsu kept complementing your stuttering for some reason, you kept hiding your blush and tried to act like you were annoyed by his comments...but secretly you enjoyed every complement.

"S-Stop talking about my stuttering! I don't get why your so into something like that." You said rolling your eyes. Natsu only grinned before patted your head and tussling your hair.

"Because your stuttering is adorable! Your so cute when your shy and stuff!" Natsu said.

"O-oh.....Well I guess I am shy...but after a while I will be comfortable around you guys." You explained.

Then there was silence, but it wasn't awkward silence...it was that type of silence that made you feel calm inside.

"Hey (Y/N)...I want to know more about you." Natsu said suddenly, you turned your head and looked at him.

"O-Okay...like what?" You asked. Nastu then placed an arm around you, your cheeks heated up and you were blushing hundred shades of red.

"Everything like um....what's your favorite color?" Natsu asked, you smiled softly before replying.

"U-Um....(F/C)."

"Favorite food?"

"(F/F)."

"Same!" Natsu said with a cheery smile, you started to smile back.

"Favorite drink?" Natsu asked.

"(F/D)." You replied softly.

"What do you like to do for fun?" Natsu asked you. That made you think for a minute...you never really did anything since all you ever have done in your life was train and help Nolan.....

But there was one thing you always did whenever you had the chance too.

"Writing." You replied shyly, Natsu looked at you and smiled softly.

"How come?" Natsu asked.

You sighed and thought about it for a minute, you were hesitant on telling him why...But something inside made you believe you could trust him.

"W-Well....When I was little, my parents actually were terrified of me because of my magic, so they would lock me up in a barn a mile away from the house, left me with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and the only entertainment I had at the time....Books and notebooks. For hours I would try to teach myself how to read and write, forcefully making myself say a sentence over and over again if I could pronounce something. I also taught myself how to do some math but I was terrible at it.....Books and my journals were basically the only thing that didn't make me lonely, I could image the characters in the books come alive and make them my friends....But then after Kiyoto found me....I wasn't lonely anymore, I had someone who cared for me and taught me everything.....even emotions such as Happiness...because the only emotions I was around was sadness and fear." You explained.

You shook your head slightly at flash images of the barn came back to your mind, Natsu sighed and pulled you into a quick hug.

"I'm sorry for asking (Y/N)....I didn't know that's how your parents treated you." Natsu mumbled. You only smiled sadly at him.

"I-Its okay Natsu....Just don't tell anyone about that okay?" You asked him, the pink dragon slayer nodded his head and smiled at you.

"Aye." He said, a burst of wind suddenly came in the village, your body slightly shaking since your outfit wasn't really suited for cold weather.
