Samantha's POV

Who knew packing for a trip could be so stressful and difficult. I guess leaving it for the last minute wasn't the smartest idea. Either way, it was close to two o'clock in the morning and I was still sorting through my clothes to pick which ones would be traveling with Niall and I to Ireland. It was apparent I procrastinated the entire week away and all of a sudden we leave tomorrow and I've barley done a thing.

I picked up two different colored dresses in each hand and turned around to face Niall. "Do you think I should bring the black one, the red one, or both?" I asked looking at the two dresses in my hand. If it was just up to me I would bring both but Niall always makes fun of how I over pack for our trips.

"Niall I need an answer-" Laying on my bed was Niall sound asleep with a book opened up on his chest. I sighed, walking back to my suitcase.

As much as I wanted to wake him up I knew I couldn't. He was up at five o'clock this morning because the guys' meetings was ridiculously far away and he graciously let me sleep in. Normally I would get up when he does to make breakfast, get a start on the day and what not but nobody should have to get up that early if they don't have to. I knew I had to return the favor and let him sleep.

I went with my gut and decided to go with the black dress that seemed to fit me in all the right places. Originally this was Sara's dress but ever since she was pregnant she claims nothing fits her the same. Although now that I think about it, the red dress might not be the most appropriate to where around Niall's parents. Just thinking about the compliments Niall gives me when I wear it is enough to put it back in my closet.

Fifteen minutes and one packed suitcase later, I was finally finished and could now take it downstairs and put it by the front door so I would have one less thing to worry about tomorrow. Luckily our flight wasn't until later in the morning so I could sleep in a bit. A quarter of the way down the stairs I could feel my phone go off in my back pocket. Who could possibly be up at this hour? I set my suitcase to the side and unlocked my phone. Before I could even look at the message, my suitcase started to make its way down the rest of the stair case. Knowing I wouldn't be able to stop it in time, I cringed as it made a loud sound when it collided with the floor below me. I slowly crept down the stairs to retrieve my bag.

"What the hell was that?" I jumped and turned around to see Niall behind me, rubbing one of his eyes. My eyes were wide as I tried to control my rapid breathing.

"Jesus Christ Niall, you scared the hell out of me!" I exclaimed, putting my hand over my chest. I could practically hear my heart beating in my ears. It was way too late at night to sneak up behind someone when they aren't expecting it even if he didn't mean to.

"Well I could say the same thing to you." He replied, pointing to the suitcase that still remained on the floor. I rolled my eyes, knowing he had a point. I walked down the remainder of the step to pick up my bag and put it where I meant to put it in the first place.

"I went to go check my phone and wasn't exactly paying attention to my suitcase and it just had to make its way to the very bottom of the stairs." I sighed. I was exhausted and this certainly didn't help.

"C'mon lets go to bed. Your tired, I'm tired. Plus we aren't going to accomplish anything else tonight so we might as well just wait to do it tomorrow." He replied, reaching out both of his arms. I gladly made my way back up the stairs and walked into his warm embrace. I had to admit, this made my heart melt every time he did it- I simply couldn't resist it. He wrapped his arms around me and I rested my arm on his waist as we ventured back to my room.

I tried to not look at the disaster I created in my room as I made my way to my side of the bed. I didn't worry about changing into any different clothes because I would be getting out of them in a few hours anyways. I stripped off my pants and removed my shirt which left me in my undershirt, bra, and underwear. I contemplated taking off my bra because comfort and bra do not go in the same sentence. Ultimately I decided to take it off because I was beyond the point of caring at this hour.
