My heart stops. My eyes fill with tears. I look to Colette. She grabs my shirt and leans into me and cries.

"Oh my Emmi Lou!" She cries. I hold her. I pull closer to her as the doctor sits down in front of us.

"This does mean Emmi is sick. Is there anything she really likes doing?" He asks us. I think.

"Horseback riding and soccer." I say smiling at the memories.

"I recommend you do Make a Wish. Just do everything she likes doing, please. Don't hold back. Let her adventure." I look at him finally realizing what he's trying to say.

I put my face in my hands and cry. Big sobs come out.
