Question 1- Updating stories

I have a couple of ways that you can make yourself want to write and make the process more exciting and happy.

1.Schedules

So when I first started making stories, I made a schedule on what I wanted to write. I would do certain days for certain stories.

If you make a schedule then you will be set to write things on certain days. I would recommend every other day or so, so your brain can gather ideas to write the next chapter. It can make you feel organized which is always helpful. Eventually, though, I did stop using the schedule because I started different stories.

2.Making the Basics of the Story

Now I open the story that I want to update even if I don't feel like it and I make a new page with the title and picture. Sometimes it motivates me to start writing after I gave it a title and a picture to base the chapter of off.

3 Turn up the music

If that doesn't motivate you, I also put on some music. When I listen to my playlist it gets me hyped and ready to do something like write.

4. Give yourself a head start

If you have an idea for a chapter create the draft and write a paragraph or two. When you go back to write again you will be kind of happy because you already have part of it done.

5. Read the comments of your followers

If you have people commenting on your other chapters or books just read them. I find when I read comments of people saying, "next chapter please!", or, "this is amazing!" It makes me really happy and thankful. People want to read your story so update because they are awesome and they think your awesome.

6. Wait a few days

Take a break off of the app for a day or two then come back. All of the notifications you see are all people interested in something you wrote in some way or another. Think that it only took a day for you to get so much love on something that you love.

I hope this helps you in wanting to write your story! Thank you deweyfish for being the first person to add a comment!
