Chapter Four

Travis

The first time I saw Alex, I know that she's the one after all these years. I finally met the one who can make me happy again, care again and fall in love again. Her straight auburn hair that curled at the end, brown eyes, average skin, long lashes, soft pale red lips and her smile it's perfect with her pearl teeth. But when I saw her looked down and tears escaped on her eyes knowing that she's in pain, my heart almost scattered into pieces. I don't know why but it's like my emotions are connected to her's. My life.

"I'm sorry to hear that" I wiped her tears and looked at her brown eyes.

She sniffled and laughed "god, I didn't even know I was crying. I'm sorry."

I smiled at her. Her laugh is music to my ears "don't be, wanna hear a story?" I don't know what I'm doing but I think it's the best that she knows it. she nodded "I, Travis J-"

She looked at me weirdly "what are you doing?" she said between giggles.

"Don't cut me off, let me finish my story first" she rolled her eyes "where was I? Oh yeah.. I, Travis James Cross who's heart broken since my soon to be wife cheated on me and found her with a guy on our bed naked until she confessed that she found a man who is better than me. And that's bullshit right?" I looked at her and saw concern in her eyes.

"I'm sorry to hear that" I smiled.

"Since then I became the man who plays with all women's heart I didn't care who I slept with every night. Every time Matt would pull me to some party just to get rid of her and I'll end up with some woman's bed" I chugged down my beer. I'm so mad to that witch I cant even believe it even though it's 2 years ago.

"What if you got someone pregnant?" Alex asked.

I don't want her to think that I'm the bad ass here. Hell I don't really know why I'm telling this to her. "I'm not like that. You see, I still have a little hope that someday, I'll find the right girl for me. My meant to be."

I saw Alex smiled "you'll find her, don't lose hope and you should be responsible by now because maybe, you wouldn't know that girl is one of those you slept with and you left her" Alex lectured and I like her. now, she's right.

I chuckled at her "oh no I have this feeling that I haven't sleep with her...Yet. Because I think she's here at this club somewhere" I looked at her eyes. She smiled and blushed. And that's how I knew that she's mine.
