XXVII. Zeo Solution

Ito stepped out of a jungle. He finally found the temple he was looking for. The temple was in ruins as if it collasped. Ito stood in the middle of the rubble and the memory came flooding in.

"Run Ito run!! Save yourself!"

Ito couldn't move. Everything happened so fast. The temple was collasping around him.

"Run!!"

Ito did just that and ran out the temple just in time.

Ito clenched his fist crushing the flowers he was holding. It didn't take long before he noticed that the flowers were ruined. "Sorry guys."

He dropped the flowers and found even better ones. "Mom loved these. They were her favorite." Ito placed the flowers down where he found a shred of his father's clothes stuck in the rubble.

"There that's better." Ito tried to stay strong, but he fell to his knees with tears streaming down his face.

Alec opened the gates of an abandoned mansion. "Let's go."

The twins entered the mansion and looked around. Memories came into mind.

"Stop!!! Leave her alone!!" Alec screamed hitting a tall man who was holding Asia in his arms.

"Alec help me!!" Asia squirmed. She kicked the man is the chest. He dropped her and the twins ran off.

Asia closed her eyes preventing herself from remembering more. Alec comforted his sister. "I miss them."

"I miss them too."

Asia picked up a doll she used to play with. Tears started to fill her eyes. "Let's get out of here."

Shun stood at the rooftop of a skyscraper. He watched over the city he used to love. Domino Heart City used to be his favorite place in the whole world, but now it was just a painful memory. He just couldn't look into the city and not feel forced to remember that night.

"Kenji!!! Help me!!!" Shun cried. He couldn't seem to get the door opened. The car was tipping over a cliff. Kenji ran as fast as he could.

"I'm coming!!" Kenji screamed, but he stopped running a few moments later.

"Kenji!!!" It was too late. The car fell off the cliff and Shun was left inside of it.

Shun stopped the flashback. He couldn't bare to relive more. The look of Kenji's face drove Shun mad. A thirst for power over came him.

"Deltrus!!!!! Where are you?!?!? Come out and duel me!!!!!!" He screamed. The echo of his voice spread around the sky. The wind blew harder.

Deltrus appeared behind Shun. "There's no need to shout."

Shun faced Deltrus. "The Hyper Zeo technique, why was Kenji able to use it?!?"

Deltrus looked into Shun's eyes. There was so much pain in them. "I'm sure Diron already told you. Besides, Kenji believed that he could save you."

Shun laughed. "Save me? I don't need saving. I'm getting my revenge on him!! The last thing I need is to be saved by him!!" His voice cracked a bit. The pain in his tone was noticeable. "And what are the Eyes of Itara?!"
