Yu-Gi-Oh! Xenus

Diron sat on his throne and grieved to his heart's content. He knew of the deaths of his fellow Legion members. He watched all of their duels there his silver orb. Diron felt alone. He felt like a piece of him was taken away.

"Yes Diron." A voice called in Diron's mind. "Grieve and take out your angry on Yuko. He did this to you. He killed your family."

Yuko stepped out of his portal after mourning over the deaths of Ito and Alec. He noticed Kenji and Tammi standing over someone.

"Guys!! You're okay!!" Yuko felt overwhelmed with happiness. He ran over to his friends. "I'm so...." He then saw who Tammi and Kenji were standing over.

Tammi turned to see Yuko and she hugged him. "Yuko!!"

Yuko returned the hug. He felt good with Tammi in his arms again. He didn't show too much affection once he focused his eyes on Soran, who was unconscious.

"What happened to him?!?" Yuko worried for Soran's life.

Kenji sighed. "When me and Tammi got back from dueling Shun," His voiced cracked once he said his brother's name. Thinking of Shun's deaf wasn't helping Kenji stay calm at all. "He was just lying here." He turned to look Yuko in the eye and saw the concerned look in his face. "Don't worry. He's still alive."

Yuko sighed in relief and hugged Tammi tighter. "I'm glad that we're all safe." He turned realized that Benta wasn't there. Yuko began to worry again. "Where's Benta?"

Tammi frowned. She was worried about him too. "I don't know. He hasn't come back yet."

"Your friend is no more." Diron said as he walked down the staircase. His eyes had a glint of revenge in them. He had only his deceased pupils on his mind. "Just like my colleagues, he too has gone to the afterlife."

Yuko and Tammi froze. They wanted to hope that Diron was lying to them, but they couldn't. Something told them that Diron was telling the truth.

"What do you mean?!?!? Benta's dead?" Yuko fell to his knees and slammed his fist into the ground. "NO!!!!!!! NOT MY BEST FRIEND!!!!"

Tammi teared up and placed herself in her brother's arms. "NO BENTA!!!"

Kenji remember the duel he and Benta had. That memory caused Kenji to weep inside. The thought of Benta being gone hurt everyone.

"HE PROMISED!!!! HE PROMISED HE WOULD COME BACK!!!!" Yuko kept punching the ground. His fist turned bloody red. "THAT IDIOT!!!! I KNEW I SHOULDN'T HAVE LET HIM COME HERE!!!! BENTA!!!!!"

Diron felt no remorse. He felt that the moment was fair. Yuko lost a friend and Diron lost four people that meant a lot to him. "You three have troubled me for far too long." Diron summoned his duel disk and slowly walked down the stairs. Step by step. "I will avenge my fallen friends."

Yuko mourned even more and completely ignored Diron's words. Memories of his best friend kept flooding his mind. It was tearing him apart inside. Yuko lost Deltrus, Alec, Ito, and now Benta. All he wanted to do was cry.

Diron finally reached the floor level and stood over. Memories of his late Legion members flooded his mind. "You took something away very dear to me, Yuko and Kenji. And for your actions," His hand started to glow and he pointed his finger towards Tammi. "I'll repay the price!!"

He shot a beam of energy towards Tammi. She locked her eyes on the incoming beam. Kenji acted fast. He covered his sister in his arms and braced himself hoping that Tammi would be safe from the blast.

The Itaru siblings didn't feel the blast hit them. They opened their eyes and saw Soran standing in their way.

"That....was a......dirty trick Diron." He said as he deflected the blast. He used up the last of his energy to protect Kenji and Tammi. "You two......okay?"
