For the first time in a while, I woke up feeling in a great mood but I just didn't know why. It was the second day of being in LA, on the first day we all caught up on much needed sleep due to stupid jetlag. I walked out onto the balcony of my hotel room with my camera and looked out at the sky. This morning's sunrise was a breathtaking display of radiant colors. Bright streaks of red, pink, and orange slowly overcame the dark blue and purple of the twilight sky. The sky resembled a prism; all the colors blended perfectly into each other. The sun itself was just peeking out of the horizon, and its brilliant rays already shined brightly and began to warm the air. I marveled at the glistening reflection of the sun on the ocean and a thrilling feeling of awe swept over me. I brought my camera to my face taken a photo of the beautiful sunrise.

After taking the shot I was most satisfied with, I walked back into the room and grabbed my apple Macbook. I leant over to my drawer and grabbed the lead for my camera plugging, it into the Macbook and uploaded all the photos I've been taking of the boys. Looking through them and seeing the pictures of Michael sticking his tongue out at me and his crazy hair flying in all directions, I smiled softly at them, knowing my best friend would never take a serious picture if I asked him too. I had many of Ashton giving me crazy faces, smiling as best as he could but looking like a sweaty, grunge monkey. The ones of Luke were so pretty as his beard made his jawline look sharp and many of the lights shining down on him made him look like an angel. I also had some of Calum just not as many as he tried avoiding me at all costs. I did capture one where he was smiling at Michael like a goofball and even though Calum and I hate each other, I won't deny loving their bromance as they've been friends for a long time and I would never ruin that.

I didn't realise how long I had be uploading photos to different websites and onto USB sticks as it was soon 10am and I could hear the boys in the other hotel room. I rolled my eyes at how loud they were being and walked over to my suitcase, searching through it looking for something nice to wear. I grabbed my ripped, blue shorts and my white floral top and got changed, putting my white converse on then tying my hair into a pony tail. I walked into the other room (thankful that Luke forgot to take his key) and looked over at the boys who were sat on the sofa; Michael and Luke were playing fifa and Ashton and Calum looking as if they would rather watch paint dry.

"Ash come on, lets go on a hike." I announced, fixing the straps of my camera bag around my neck.

"Ok." He replied, jumping up from the sofa and walking over the kitchen area grabbing a bottle of water.

"I'm coming with," Calum piped up also walking towards the kitchen grabbing and bottle of water,"These two aren't the most interesting gamers."

"Err no. Me and Ash are going on a sibling hike." I told him, my hands on my hips.

"Thats a shame, still coming though." I grumbled out some swear words as Ashton wrapped his arm around me as we made our way outside. The hot LA air was beaming down onto my skin, making it look a golden colour.

We made our way up a trail and over the top of a small mountain which took around 45 minutes, mostly because I was tired and Calum kept pushing me when Ashton wasn't looking, also threatening to push me over the edge. I seriously don't get his deal. We stood at the top and took in the view of the city. I turned around to face the waterfall which thundered down like lightning flashing the surrounding trees in surprisingly different shades. Shadows danced among them while trees stood silently like armoured bark sentinels. The sun sent an army of light down emphasising the beauty of the otherworldly environment. Grass covered the land slick like hair each strand dripping heavily with water, forming their own waterfall. Flowers were sprouting up in a amazing discord of the colours to dazzle the senses and eyes as beautiful arrays of colours from greens, yellow, purples, reds and others assaulted you. Mountains reached up tot eh sky seemingly trying to pluck and rival the sun. The homely smell of pine drifted in the air lingering gently like a charm. Birds twittered and gossiped in the tall might trees.
